  • "On arrival I found the coded box which held the key was rather fiddly and thought that maybe some people would really struggle with it."

The house itself was immediately likeable and the owners had presented it well. The dining area was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was comfortable. The reason we chose this place was for the pool and that was truly excellent. The garden and views were wonderful. The patio and decking area was really good. There were lots of places to sit outside and take in the scenery. I felt the beds, pillows, duvets and bed linen could do with an upgrade but that would be my only criticism. The modern digital showers were easy to use and very efficient, but they weren't in every bedroom. All in all this is a great place to stay, especially when the sun is shining.

  • "We have just come back from a 7 night holiday with the family."

10 adults, 1 baby and 2 dogs. On first impressions the property looked clean and tidy, however the "nooks and crannies" had been neglected. The selling point for me when booking was the outdoor bbq and the swimming pool. The pool area was warm but the water was cold, making it untenable for an 18month baby. Even the adults only tried it once. The bbq was not fit for purpose and quite clearly had not been cleaned for a long time, so our plans for a bbq were dashed. There is a small step from the dining area to the tv area which is not easy to see, in fact upon arrival I fell off it, not injured. However our great grandson, fell up it and banged his head on a dining chair, splitting his eyebrow open which bled profusely and he was taken to Pwllheli minor injuries and then to Bangor hospital, a journey of over 2 hours in great distress, where they sealed it with butterfly stitches. The location and house itself was nice, but the things mentioned really need addressing and the description of amenities should actually reveal what is "working and available" On a positive note the bedrooms were nice and the beds very comfortable, there was coffee, bread, butter and marmalade waiting on our arrival, which was very nice.

  • "We stayed the early May bank holiday weekend 2024 as an extended family gathering with 4 generations to accommodate."

The house was well laid out, modern bathrooms & very clean. We had a small dog & the down stairs room with enclosed court yard was excellent. The children had hours of fun in the pool. Views are wonderful however location is remote so be prepared for journeys on narrow country roads. We were ok with this, all part of the adventure. House was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Well done to the owners we had a wonderful time & highly recommend

  • "Great holiday home with every facility that you would require."

Exceptionally clean and spacious. Pool lovely and warm. Large enclosed garden for dogs. We had no problems but owner readily available should any occur. It is remote but access to coastal path on doorstep - we walked to Aberdaron along the path, beautiful walk and it took a leisurely 3 hours (lovely pub on front at the end of walk). Highly recommended!

Cleanliness and facilities were 5 star. Only problem was that the door to the pool was difficult to lock and the bifold doors in the lounge couldn't be opened as they needed adjusting.

  • "Our family of 3 generations thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely property."

Plenty of space in fenced garden for the dog to run around outside which was lovely as we don't have a grassy garden and can't let him off lead normally. Children had a ball both in the garden and the pool whilst my son enjoyed cooking locally caught rabbit from the butcher in the fabulous kitchen. Having 3 children around, the duo each of washing machines and tumble dryers were greatly appreciated. We did have one problem and that was the concentration of chlorine in the swimming pool. It seemed very strong and my daughter and granddaughter have been left with weak and broken hair with my daughter, who has bleached blonde hair, losing some altogether and likely to have to cut it short.

  • "We had the best holiday."

The house was vey clean and tidy, it had everything we needed and more. It was so spacious that each member of our group of 9 was able to have their own space, but a large communal area where you could enjoy time together. The pool was a big hit especially with the children. The garden was huge and overlooking the beach and hills, simply idilic. A short drive to Aberdaron where there is a pub, shop, little gift shops etc and a lovely beach. Just enough to go for a short day visit, then to get back to enjoy the house. We would highly recommend and would love to stay here again. Thank you for everything.
