"What a fabulous place!"
! We are a family party of 10 and have just enjoyed a week at Wig Carna - it was heaven on a plate! It was great to be able to park 4 cars with ease. The location was second to non and the house wonderfully comfortable. The young children loved the beach as did the dog!! The conservatory was the best place to sit late afternoon and enjoy a G & T! We even got to see the Red Arrows ....!! Hopefully we shall back again.

"We had a wonderful stay - the place is in a beautiful peaceful location and was very warm and comfortable."
My only feedback is that the place could be slightly stocked a bit better, with regards to things like soap/washing liquid/toilet paper etc.

"Probably the best setting I have ever stayed in."
The view's are absolutely unbelievable. We will hopefully return one day in warmer weather.

"Most idyllic place we have stayed at."
Even with the aircraft overhead it’s still relaxing with a fantastic outlook to die for. Will definitely be back

"A one in a million holiday home with a truly amazing location that makes you relax instantly"

"Location is fantastic, the tide changes bring a new beautiful view each day."
Good for fishing (Bass, Plaice etc ) within metres from the house, kayaking safe, work with tide lovely walks when tide is out. House is comfortable and homely, great view from almost all rooms. A sense of being away from it all but can get to Holyhead retail park within 15 mins, a local supermarket is less than 10 mins away. Will definitely book again

"Area fantastic and nice cottage however there was a few issues that need addressing."
There is no mention of CCTV in operation and does not conform to regulations, Part of the cooker did not work and most of the control marking had been rubbed off with age. Advertised as having fridge/freezer & fridge and freezer but only has fridge & freezer. Curtains were in very poor condition and a door had a broken glass in it. Needs tumble dryer as nowhere to dry towels etc. Shower plughole blocked with hair. Hand towel stained. Fly infestation in the kitchen and one of the windows was difficult to close if opened. Bread bin rusty. Twin single room sink blocked. No cupboard space to store food. Microwave is in utility room needs to be in kitchen. Pans and plates needed cleaning before use. Twin single beds badly stained on the base and mattress protectors stained. Central heating base temperature set too low and had to keep overriding. Dishwasher very noisy. No recycling unless you take it to tip yourself. Care taker entered property without notice. Dog owners beware as gardener warned us of an adder (snake) nest on the boarder of the field. A bit more attention to detail would vastly improve this cottage but they need to be more honest in the advertising as we would not of booked had we known of the CCTV. As it currently stands i would not recommend for disable.
Thank you for your feedback and highlighting of issues which we are addressing. Property Owner

About the location
HOLYHEAD
Trearddur Bay 3 miles.
The bustling town of Holyhead rests on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town boasts the remains of Roman town walls and forts, medieval burial chambers and stone village foundations. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, which offers designated walks through the grounds. The park is full of interesting wildlife, most notably the seals who visit the Holyhead coast, and outlines the amazing construction of the world's longest breakwater, some 1.8 miles, which today protects the harbour. Visit the colourful marina with its yachts and tall ships, or the town's maritime museum, with its tales of 100 shipwrecks in the vicinity. Day trips to Ireland can be enjoyed easily from here, with Dublin just 90 minutes away on the fast ferry. With spectacular cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain, golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay and the Snowdonia National Park just a 20 minute drive away, this is a superb holiday location, at any time of the year.
