  • "I have a sound support dog, one of the family of Hearing Dogs for Deaf people and this location is perfect for a stay."

Its isolated area and the woods and forest on your doorstep is perfect for our dog and us to enjoy! Within a short distance there are several dog friendly shops and cafes who welcomed us warmly and were delighted to hear our stories of how we have trained and nurtured our dog to become the clever life changing animal she is. Being a Hearing Dog volunteer trainer is a wonderful experience and this cottage in this location is perfect for us.

The medieval ruins of the castle still tower over the river and are well worth a visit. Known affectionately as 'Barney’ by residents and visitors alike, the town boasts cobble streets, yards and back lanes, which were first laid out in the 12th century.
