  • "Absolutely stunning cottage near Bridlington."

Had everything you need (including a proper mattress for the travel cot - bonus!) the beds were super comfy. We had scones on our arrival which was so lovely. The cottage was bright, cosy and warm. The photos don’t do it justice, the bedrooms are huge! We highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Thank you for having us!

  • "A really comfortable cottage with excellent facilities inside and out."

Tea, coffee, sugar and chocolate biscuits greeted out arrival in the kitchen; the beds were very comfortable and duvets a good weight for spring weather; the toilet was separate to the bathroom (a bonus); dvds and books as well as TV in the lounge. Wish I was a child for the header: swing, slide and rope swings down in the woods; lots of available seating, both private and with others if you wished; plenty of parking space. Wonderful hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble.

  • "The best thing about the holiday house was the number of books and games provided with it."

With 2 small boys and a smaller car than usual, it was really nice to get there and be able to keep the boys occupied without needing to put the ginormous TV on all the time. There was plenty for us to do too - in fact I'm tempted to return, just to read all the books and watch all the dvds that we didn't have time for! The grounds were also super and we managed to enjoy them a bit despite the autumnal weather. What really set this house apart from all the other good houses we've stayed in is that it was also extremely well located for our needs. The Bridlington railway station, Fraisthorpe beach, John Bull's World of Rock and a Bird of Prey attraction were all within a 4 mile round trip (with older children and better weather, we may even have considered walking this distance in rambling gear). We had a week full of great days out during very changeable weather - taking in Scarborough Castle, Sewerby Hall, Hornsea Museum and Town, the World of Rock, Fraisthorpe Beach, Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs.
