• "Lovely apartment in central Bridlington."

  Very clean and comfortable. Loads of places to eat close by. Ample parking choices. Owner very friendly and helpful. If we had one negative it would be the TV is too high on the wall. Would have liked BBC, ITV and maybe Channel 4 rather than just Netflix. Highly recommend this lovely apartment.

• "Positives..."

  ..Location wise to beach and amenities are good ,and all close to the apartment. Comfy beds, nice bedrooms with clean and fresh bedding, plenty of towels too. lovely bathroom & heated towel rail so we always had dry towels to use and plenty of hot water . Nice bright and lovely view from the small dining area on to a public garden which is kept very neat and tidy. Kitchen and lounge adequate size, kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking, instructions for all electrical items, but we did find the oven a challenge at first but soon got used to how it worked. Emma the owner very friendly and responsive , left a welcome pack of goodies and drinks for the grand children. negatives... wall mounted TV too high on the wall, even grandkids commented on why it was so high. Bit disappointed with skirting and some doors , they needed a clean, I do like things clean, even paint work! Overall this is a lovely flat, it was home for 1 week, we had good weather and grand kids loved the beach and other amenities that bridlington offers. Thankyou Emma. Xx

• "This was our first visit to Bridlington, and we were delighted with Wave and Sea."

  A lovely 2 bedroom apartment, with excellent facilities. The kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of pots, pans and utensils. All sparklingly clean. The bed in the main bedroom is huge and very comfortable. With the apartment being centrally located, it was but a short walk into town. There are really good transport options as well. One day we took the train to Bempton and walked to the RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs. A truly beautiful sight! I would definitely recommend Wave and Sea. We had a great stay, with lots of great feedback from Emma. Best regards, Robert and Elizabeth.

• "We had a lovely short break staying at Wave and Sea."

  It is ideally positioned to take a walk up and down Bridlingtons north beach and a short walk away from the harbour and busier central area. The property itself was very comfortable with a high standard of cleanliness and all the facilities in good working order. We would definitely book again if returning to Bridlington!

• "We had a brilliant week, central to all amenities, the accommodation was clean and welcoming would definitely go again the only thing we missed was a hairdryer we got wet throw due to the weather and couldn't find a hairdryer, other than that a perfect place to stay."

• "A beautiful Maisonette type apartment , very well located for all amenities and the sea a stones throw away, (though the stairs may not suit the old or infirm ) The apartment is very well laid out and fully equipped with all a family should need, the only negative… not really worthy of a mention is the absence of a squeegee in the bathroom for removing surface water from the glass screen and tiles, the owners are only at few minutes away and always available to assist with any issues that may arise."

  We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a great place to crash in comfort whilst enjoying a pristine location..

• "Lovely property in good location, within easy reach of everything."

  Beautiful walks to the south and north beaches. My boys enjoyed the slides at the swimming pool across the road. The twin room was lovely but uncomfortable - I think those beds are not full-size singles, so only suitable for small children and one was like sleeping on jelly! In the lounge the TV is so high up on the wall that it caused neck ache to watch. Lovely large sofa was perfect for snuggles with my children but the addition of a blanket would have been useful. Larger towels would have been appreciated, too! Overall it really is a lovely, compact property and we enjoyed our stay, despite the weather! We enjoyed the treats that the hosts left for us. The heating pods on the ceiling warmed the rooms up quickly. Thanks for a lovely stay.

• "We had a great short stay at Wave and Sea, the property was in a perfect location."

  It was a 2 minute walk onto the sea front and about a 10 minutes away from The Spa which was the reason for our stay in Bridlington to see a concert. Perfectly placed for travelling around, about an hour away from Whitby or Hull in the opposite direction so brilliant if you want to get out and about. The property was clean and tidy and had everything that we needed. Emma and Tufail were perfect hosts, the communication prior to arrival was excellent and they arranged parking permits and explained where and when we could park- even allowing us to use them prior to official check in time. They kept in touch and made sure we knew where to go if we had any issues which we didn’t. The instructions within the property were clear and there was lots of recommendations on where to eat if anyone needed any guidance.

  The apartment is extremely well looked after, spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need to ensure a great holiday. Emma and Tufail are a lovely couple who go above and beyond to make your stay everything you want it to be. Well situated to visit the beach and all amenities. There is a fantastic leisure centre across the road too with a great cafe. I had a most enjoyable relaxing stay these last few days. Thank you so much Emma and Tufail xx

• "A lovely, bright, clean and very comfortable holiday let."

  Would recommend highly. A lovely welcome pack awaited our arrival. But the best thing about our stay was Emma, an owner who cares about your holiday experience before you go, when you are there and when you leave whereby nothing was too much trouble for her. This was a kindness and thoughtfulness beyond most holiday let owners. Would definitely go back to Wave and Sea if returned to Bridlington.

• "Wave and Sea was amazing."

  Spotlessly clean, well equipped and close to all amenities. The decor is gorgeous. The beds are like sleeping on the fluffiest of clouds, the bed linen and towels are super soft and perfectly white. The shower is awesome. And as for Emma, the host, I’m struggling to find words to describe such a friendly, smiley more lovely lady. Couldn’t recommend a more wonderful person with a beautiful holiday let enough! • "Very clean and comfortable accommodation."

  Two minute walk to the beach and five to the harbour. A very good position for buses to Scarborough and Filey. We were made very welcome by the owner and she provided a very nice welcome pack. We would be very pleased to return for another break in Bridlington.

• "Beautiful flat in a great location."

  It was spotlessly clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. A welcome pack was waiting for us, and our hosts greeted us and showed us around. Our 6 yr old grandson loved it too, and wants to come back soon! A great few days away, we really enjoyed our stay.
