  • "Nice views, lots of spiders on ceilings."

Needs a bit of freshen up with walls. Didn’t feel comfortable with locked barn doors and big padlocks in bedroom and next to bathroom. Also taking all bed linen off and emptying dish washer etc have never been told to do before. Even so, not bad stay.. Chickens came to visit and we saw a fox.

Apologies for the spiders on the ceilings, we take care in removing all spiders and taking them back outside when cleaning however they always seem to find there way back home! I am not sure what you mean about the padlock barn doors? The padlocks inside are for the safety of guests as we would not want children accessing cleaning products and the boiler cupboard. The removal of bed linen is for infection control purposes brought in during the pandemic so I apologise for the inconvenience. Glad you appreciated the wildlife of the countryside. We will aim to freshen the walls when we have a gap in bookings. Many thanks for your feedback. Property Owner

  • "Cottage is lovely and cosy and smells gorgeous as soon as you walk in the door."

It has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Stairs were a little difficult to manage if you have any mobility issues but other than that can highly recommend. Very quiet and peaceful but with easy access for sight seeing and visiting surrounding beauty spots.

  • "Very clean and comfortable cottage."

Location is quiet and lovely walks along the rail trail for the dog. Couple of small additions which would help future guests - a tray to take the tea into the garden and a teapot, an essential item for a real tea drinker. Overall a lovely stay

Thank you for your lovely comments. I will most definitely add the items mentioned above. thank you for the feedback :) Property Owner

Very clean. Immaculate kitchen. Stairs are pretty steep so may not be suitable for the elderly. Area is very quiet excellent to get away from busy city life. A good base to enable travelling to Beverley and other surrounding areas. We had a lovely stay
