  • "Cottage perfect, quiet peaceful and owner Fiona helpful."

Only major drawback was the 500 yds gravel and broken bricks road leading to the cottage. Need a van or 4/4 vehicle to access the road safely. My low down merc scrapped the bottom of the bricks hence one day not going out.Beautiful place and nice places to visit.

  • "The property and views were wonderful, beds really comfortable, lovely having milk for tea on arrival, local shop and pub really good, friendly."

Owners go out there way to help, and obliging, very friendly, like home from home, we definitely would come back for a longer holiday. The village pretty.

  • "Loved the views, the remoteness and the cottage itself - a lovely space."

It was horrible weather and we really enjoyed using the woodburning stove which was easy to light and very cosy. Personally we did find the beds very hard though - but we realise some people like hard beds. Be aware that the roads to this property are very rough so if you have a small car, this could be a problem.

  • "Sadly we can't reccommend Spinners Cottage at this time - after travelling some time to get there it would have been nice to be welcomed with a pint of milk, any toilet roll, any kitchen roll instead of one sheet on the end of a roll, some dishwasher cleaner instead of it being empty or anti-bac cleaner which was likewise empty."

The track to the cottage needs attention as it is extremely deeply rutted, very steep and bumpy and probably dangerous when wet. The main bedroom had damp showing above the bed. The countryside is stunning but the site of scaffolding is never far from the eye as is the leftover rubble, wood etc that hasn't been tidied up Worst of all was the banging and hammering from the building work next door & the shouting from workers and constant noise from their radio from 07:30 in the morning from Monday thru Thursday. Didn't make for the relaxing holiday that we had expected at all.

Very cosy and a good locations for walks straight from the cottage - or an excellent base for venturing into the dales. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean, fresh eggs on arrival were very welcome!

  • "We had a lovely stay at this cottage."

It was beautifully renovated, with stunning view with Goregous sunsets. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage, comfortable and warm. The road leading to the cottage (although warned on website) was very difficult to drive up. Steep with lots of deep ridges, by the end of week we had it sussed. The other downside, was the cottage heating system was quite loud, sounded like there was an air pocket which loudly growled every few hours. It was a alarming in the middle of the night and woke us a few times. There was plenty of fields to exercise our dog, in front and behind the cottage and wonderful walks on your door step.

  • "Beautiful stone cottage on the edge of the Moor."

Plenty to do in the area or just relax and enjoy the countryside around the cottage.

  • "Very neat & clean property."

You can tell the property is new - The attention to detail is superb, tastefully decorated throughout & very spacious for two or 4 people. Didn’t even need to remember my sharp knife (chef’s magnetic rack of knives in the kitchen). Hosts were attentive, but very respectful of our privacy. Lovely walk in shower & huge beautiful kitchen - stunning on every level!!

  • "The cottage is well appointed and has a lovely Grade 2 listing with period features."

The bed was super comfy and the power shower was great. As it is an old building it was chilly first thing and it would have been great to boost the temperature without having to search out the owners to use their app. The track to the cottage needs attention as it is extremely deeply rutted....a low car would not make it up. Customers need to be aware of on going building work as externally the public area is untidy and would benefit from tlc Nevertheless I would recommend the property as it has superb uninterrupted views, is peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
