"On arrival the temperature was 9 degrees C inside, having driven for 7 hours we had to increase the heating temperature and then vacate the premises for a few hours to give it time to heat up, as it was like an icebox when we arrived."
Also the heating dropped during the nights, so it was cold again in the mornings. The crockery and some of the cutlery/utensils had been put away in the cupboard dirty. The kettle was full of scale. The bathroom lights didn’t stay on long enough, approx 30 seconds then have to try and trigger the sensor when you’re using the shower otherwise completely dark. There is zero privacy in the lounge/kitchen area as no curtains, because of the shape I understand it’s difficult, to install curtains but something like privacy glass would work. We won’t be recommending this place or returning.
Thank you for your review. The heating is set to turn on 1hr prior to guests arriving, because you checked in early, the heating wouldn’t have switched on. We also noticed there was a schedule set on the heating system, this must have been set by previous guests. We have now removed this. We are disappointed that you found dirty crockery & utensils, we apologise and will ask our housekeeping manager to throughly check before each guest arrives. We are having privacy blinds designed and these will be fitted as soon as possible . We hope with these few changes you will stay with us again soon. Property Owner
