  • "Lovely quirky cottage we really enjoyed our stay everything we needed was provided and the hosts were quick to pop round when we had a problem, very helpful, would definitely come back again."

only criticism is we could have done with a welcome pack detailing the cooker instructions, central heating, tv etc otherwise all good

  • "We have a lovely time at the property, it is done to a very high standard throughout with lots of really great extra touches that we really appreciated and showed how much effort and love had been put into it."

We adored how spacious it all was, and so much storage space for our stuff. The kitchen space particularly had a real wow factor. And we even saw the Northern lights from the top bedroom! There were no issues parking, was a great location for exploring the area, with some that could be done on foot and some with very very short drives. Also good facilities around us. It’s a gorgeous area, we explored all round Flamborough head and beyond. Couple of tiny issues, a power failure which was very quickly resolved as soon as we contacted the owner, and a slight fault with the top sections of the dishwasher. Nothing that was a problem and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Many thanks for your review glad you enjoyed your stay ❤️ Property Owner

  • "Really lovely property, was easy to find, managed to find nearby parking without a problem."

Property very stylishly furnished in a quirky style and had everything we needed for a short stay. Lots of stairs which are steep to get to top floor but no problem for us. Great shower! Only feedback would be that could do with a mirror in top floor bedrooms. Enjoyable stay and would stay again

Bed and sofa very comfortable, large tvs and fully equipped large kitchen. The house was very clean. Flamborough is a great base for exploring the surrounding coastal areas which are quite stunning.

  • "Fantastic cottage superbly placed in the centre of Flamborough village."

Cliff walking, buses, pubs, fish and chips all within easy walking distance. The cottage is unusual but well appointed with modern facilities easy to use Wi-Fi. You need to be fairly fit to cope with the stairs but the bedrooms are very good. All round a very good value stay in a beautiful place.

  • "House and facilities were excellent."

Enjoyed our stay. However for future development. There was no coat hooks and a welcome information pack would be nice. But this takes nothing away from the enjoyment of our stay. It was in a prime location for ammenities. Cleanliness was excellent, layout and modern facilities made our stay comfortable.

  • "Quirky cottage centrally located in the village."

Very comfy beds. Any issues we had were sorted. Would not be suitable however for anyone with mobility issues as steep stairs. That said had an enjoyable stay.

The house itself was very comfortable especially the sofa and beds. Great to be able to watch TV and relax over the few days we stayed.

The pretty village of Flamborough occupies a superb setting, perched on a picturesque peninsula on the East Coast of Yorkshire, 4 miles from Bridlington. Housing traditional fishermen's cottages and a small selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants, Flamborough also has much to offer the rambler, historian and birdwatcher. There are spectacular cliffs, which form an eight mile stretch of Heritage coastline, and at Flamborough Head, stand two historic lighthouses, one of which is the oldest one in Britain, built in 1674. To the north of the village, the magnificent 400 feet high cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of nesting sea birds in England. Discover the puffins at Bempton, follow the fascinating natural trails at South Landing and the wooded ravine at Danes Dyke, or explore the smugglers’ caves at North Landing.
