  • "The cottage was clean & tidy & well presented."

Its was our 2nd stay at Razorbill, and we will book again. Perfect also for our dogs, who also made themselves at home. Fantastic location for a quiet break, ideally located for walking. Also only a 15 minute walk into Flamborough villiage which has an adequate number of places for eating.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing to stay at Razorbill Cottage for the second time! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your dogs felt right at home and enjoyed the fantastic location for both peaceful breaks and scenic walks. It's great to know that you appreciated the convenience of being close to Flamborough village. We truly value your loyalty and can’t wait to welcome you back for another relaxing stay in the future. • "A great cosy, clean cottage just what was needed to escape the stresses of a demanding job for a few days along with my 2 dogs."

Much nicer property than the photos portray. The power shower was immense after a day hiking the cliff tops. Complimentary tea/coffee available. Fabulous location, in walking distance to the village & great for getting out in the car exploring the neighbouring towns. I would stay again & my only hope is eventually the beautiful huge communal garden is made secure for our 4-legged friends & maybe a mop in the property to clean up after those muddy paws. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you to the owners :)

Hi Laura, Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted to hear that you had a relaxing break and enjoyed the cosy cottage along with your dogs. It’s great to know that the power shower was a hit after your cliff-top hikes and that you made the most of the fantastic location. Regarding the mop—just to let you know, we have a mop and bucket available in the communal laundry room on-site for guests to use. We’ll certainly consider adding them directly to the cottages in the future for added convenience. Thank you for the suggestion! We appreciate your feedback about the garden. We’re pleased to share that we have plans in place to add secure fencing around our properties to provide a safe space for pets to roam freely. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back again. Warm regards, Jacki and The Team at The Grange Holidays Property Owner

  • "We did enjoy our stay at Razorbill cottage,it’s an ideal location to explore the coastline."

We did find the furniture a little uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi was down a couple of times but was soon rectified. We went to use the toaster and it tripped out the electricity,so we used the grill instead. The bedroom was cosy and warm with a nice comfortable bed and nice hot shower and clean bathroom. We would like to thank the owners for chocolates and coffee pods a nice gesture.Would have gave five stars if we didn’t have the above small problems.

Dear Nicholas, Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay at Razorbill Cottage. • "Lovely cottage ,I would have given it 4 stars but very disappointed on the outside furniture."

.. A cosy cottage for 2 doesn't need a table & bench you'd get in the pub garden, it needs a comfy table and chairs to relax....

Dear Julie, Thank you for your review and kind words about the cottage. We're glad you found it lovely and cozy for your stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding the outside furniture. We understand that comfortable seating is important, especially for relaxation. Your suggestion for a more cozy table and chairs setup is noted, and we'll consider this for future enhancements to better suit our guests' needs. We hope you still had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the other aspects of the cottage. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back and provide an even better experience next time. • "We really enjoyed our stay at Razorbill."

The property was well appointed and had a good range of quality facilities. We were surprised to find not only an espresso machine, but coffee pods for it. We were welcomed by a pack for both ourselves and the dog. It feels like the owners really had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We had come to the area for the seabirds and were pleased to find a path that took us directly from the property to the cliffs. We had such a lovely time I am loathed to put anything that could be constituted as negative but felt it fair to point out that the sloping ceiling in the bedroom would make it awkward for very tall or not very mobile people. Having said that we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Bathroom floor and towel rail dirty. The kitchen sink was dirty and the dish drainer was filthy, underneath the sofa cushions was full of hairs snd crumbs as attached photos show. We actually left the cottage 2 days early because of all of this. We have photo evidence of this.

  • "A nice cottage in a lovely area not too far from the coast."

Very clean and comfortable, with great facilities. The only minor concern was we couldn't seem to get the heating going to any great degree (the radiators didn't seem to get very warm). That said, we did visit in the middle of Winter, and I'm sure that a Summer visit would be wonderful.

Dear Mark, Thank you for your review. We're so pleased you liked our cottage, facilities and location. I'm sorry to hear the heating let down the experience we strive to provide. Please be assured we take feedback like this very seriously and our maintenance team are very responsive to issues once made aware of them. We've had several guests in since your stay with no further heating issues reported so future guests can expect it to be nice and warm in Razorbill Kind regards, Jacki The Grange Holidays Flamborough Property Owner
