  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the property."

The accommodation was extremely clean and spacious and there were plenty of towels provided which was another plus. We were given a warm welcome by Garry who showed us round the property when we arrived. The property was in a good position for visiting the coastal resorts. The bonus was the weather was so good after all the poor weather this spring.

This was the 4th time we have stayed at Fourth Farm and the owner Garry is very amenable and helpful when needed.

  • "What a great little find."

Such a peaceful setting, there isn't anything not to like. The photos don't actually do the house justice. A lovely secure back garden with furniture to relax in after a day out. We were warmly greeted by a very smiley Garry who showed us round the property. The bottle of wine left on the table was appreciated. I took my 4 year old grandson and 22 month old granddaughter and it was great for them. Travel cot and highchair at the house which was a plus. Lots of beaches and walks near by. We shall most definitely be back. Thankyou.

  • "We could not have been more happy with the Wagon Shed."

In a cold November week it could not have been a better place to return to and we so appreciated the seemingly endless warmth and hot water. We really enjoyed the visits of the very friendly farm cats too! A minor thing, we would have liked to have had i player etc on the tv - when on holiday, we like to catch up on the series we've missed. We would love to stay at the Wagon Shed again, it's one of the best!

The property owner was very nice and went beyond the call of duty by waiting until we arrived at 1:30am to greet us and show us around which was highly appreciated. I highly recommend staying and will be returning.

  • "The Wagon Shed is a beautiful holiday home."

When we walked in it was like entering a brand new property, it was so clean and comfortable. All the rooms are large and well furnished , warm and cosy. The only thing wrong for me was the lack of hand rais in the shower, These would be a great help for older guests. There is plenty to do and see in the area and we hope to return in the warmer months when we can spend time on the beautiful beaches.Thank you to Garry for the warm welcome, and the wine!

Everything about the booking was spot on and ensured a superb holiday. The situation of the cottage in the middle of open country was perfect. We woke up each morning to glorious bird song. The fields were full of hares, pheasants and all kinds of wildlife; unfortunately we were not up early enough to see the Roe Deer. At the RSPB site Bempton Cliffs, Flamborough Head we saw many Puffin, Gannets and all kinds of sea birds. The local stately homes at Burton Agnes Hall and Sowerby Hall were wonderful places to visit. The Bomber Command Memorial at Lissett nearby was a touching reminder of the brave airmen who lost their lives during the Second World War.

On arrival we were met with a warm welcome from the owner, Garry. He showed us around the Waggon Shed, left us with his contact details and a bottle of wine! He couldn't have been more obliging. Situated on a working farm, in a very quiet and accessible area, the cottage was all that we'd hoped for. It was clean, spacious, bright and warm, and easy to manage. The lounge was so comfortable that our evenings in were a real treat, after doing lots of walking through the day in Beverley, Diffield, Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough and Flamborough! We look forward to a return visit in the near future.
