The Old Stable is a charming, renovated barn in Great Hatfield just outside Hornsea. The 2-bedroom property sleep 4 people and boasts an enclosed courtyard, downstairs living and countryside views. Situated in the village of Great Hatfield The Old Stable is ideally situated for countryside walks and has easy access to the local beaches with Mappleton beach within walking distance.

There are several excellent pubs locally and the bars and restaurants of Hornsea are a short drive away.

The lovely market town of Beverley is easily accessible, as well as the attractions in Hull including The Deep aquarium, Ferensway Art Gallery and The Hull New Theatre.

Further afield there are the historic city of York and the seaside towns of Bridlington and Scarborough. Downstairs there is a well-equipped kitchen with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

A large lounge/dining room boasts stunning original wooden beams and inviting sofas on which to relax and watch the Smart TV while contemplating the next day’s plans.

A large dining table gives plenty of room to enjoy the meals cooked after a busy day. There is a ground floor king-sized bedroom with views over the courtyard and door giving direct access to the patio.

A downstairs bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Upstairs there is a large king-sized bedroom with a Juliette balcony giving stunning views over the local countryside.

As well as the resident horses, there are often wild deer seen grazing in the fields.

HORNSEA

Bridlington 15 miles.

The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This old Victorian resort has long, wide, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain. Hornsea is near to Wassand Hall and walled gardens and provides a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the East Riding coastal resorts. The historic city of York, Beverley with it's famous gothic minster and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.
