• "Meadow View is a proper home from home."

  Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. There's a very thoughtful welcome pack with something for everyone provided by the owner. The meadow just over the road is perfect for a morning or evening dog walk. Just a 15 minute walk down to the beautiful 5 mile long beach. 30 minute walk along the beach to Filey with its dog friendly cafes. What more could you possibly want.

• "Meadow View is in a great location for exploring the Yorkshire coastline with Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough all within a 10 mile radius."

  There are lots of local walks and eating places where dogs are allowed, so great for your four legged friends. The cottage itself is very clean and well equipped-a real home from home and good for small families, with board games, a Wii console, several TVs and buckets and spades for the beach. There is also the use of leisure facilities on the site, which we didn’t take advantage of, but I am sure others would appreciate, particularly with the great British weather.

• "A beautiful cottage with all you need already there."

  Lovely welcome pack makes it special as owners have taken the time to think of everything and that includes your doggies. Lots of games to play on a wet day and internet was good. Cottage was clean and well equipped lots of space and will definitely be coming back

• "We have stayed at meadow view several times and would highly recommend it."

  A great location to relax, no noise from the neighbours and fully equipped to be a home from home. The location is perfect for visiting different parts of the area from Flamborough Head, Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. We enjoyed walking from the site to Filey by both the beach and the coastal path.

  We really enjoyed our break, the Bay is well maintained and very dog friendly with lovely walks down to the beach or on the complex so our dog was happy too! • "We had an excellent five nights at Meadow View in September 2023."

  The property was exactly as detailed and perfect for the four adults and two dogs. The Bay, Filey, is a great site with a good pub and leisure centre. The walk to the beach is lovely and the beach itself is amazing. The owner of Meadow View, Julia, was very helpful and made sure we had all the information we needed to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back.

• "The property was very clean and had everything you needed even down to bucket and spades."

  A superb location, the open space at the rear of the property was brilliant to socialise with all other residents and their dogs. The lovely touches such as the hamper of treats for our dogs and a bottle of wine which we very much enjoyed. Definitely be back.

• "This was our second stay at Meadow View and we've already booked to go back next year!"

  It's very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. A 10 minute walk to the beach and a lovely meadow opposite the cottage which is ideal for an evening walk with our dogs. The welcome pack which included treats for adults, children and dogs was a lovely touch. Looking forward to going back

• "We had a lovely stay, the cottage had lots of added extras incase you forgot items like cleaning things and dog bowls, also boardgames and other home comforts."

  The cottage was well equipped, clean and the owner kept in touch so well in regards to access and directions. We love visiting The Bay with direct access to the beach, the swimming pool and bar/restaurant. All dog friendly and makes you feel right at home and relaxed. Highly recommend!

  Everything was fantastic and the property is incredibly well maintained and made a perfect home from home. The property's location is perfect within The Bay and we were fortunate to have had a week with great weather that meant we could take of lovely long walks along the stunning beach! • "Lovely little place on a very tidy holiday complex."

  The added bonus of the leisure pass to allow access to the on site facilities would I am sure be most welcome in the summer months. The house was very clean and comfortable. The communication from the owner was excellent and we would definately book again.

• "Meadow View is a lovely cottage on The Bay village resort."

  The property is kept immaculately clean and tidy, with stylish modern kitchen and bathroom, plus good sized bedrooms and lounge. Being able to open lounge doors of all the properties onto a small patio with table and chairs at the edge of a communal green space gives a friendly feel to the area. I was impressed with the owner's contact with me which was clearly to ensure that guests enjoy their stay and to provide a great holiday. I hope we can return in the future.

• "We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage, it was a lovely cottage, really clean and well kept."

  There was ample facilities available for all needs, plenty of toys and games etc. The grandchildren thought it was fantastic! We would highly recommend this cottage for other families.
