  • "When we arrived we were met by Tracy."

Once we got into the cottage we were greeted with a lovely homemade lemon drizzle cake. The garden was spot on for the dogs. One did manage to get out but as soon as I mentioned it to Tracy it was sorted and additional netting put up by Patrick. The cottage has everything you need for your break and it is set in one of our favourite parts of Yorkshire. From the local organic veg in Fadmoor to fresh eggs from Gillamoor and Westfield honey there is some lovely stuff about. I would definately recommend this cottage and area for a break away xx

Had everything that you could need. Had some great days out including North York Moors railway. Whitby and Staithes. Eden camp is a great place to visit also. Are party was four adults and 2 10 year olds and there is ample space in the cottage..Great having a down stairs bedroom and bathroom. Bonus of having a fire each evening especially after some rainy days, definitely buy your wood on site, can't find it cheaper anywhere else. Lovely views in a morning and star gazing at night.. what more could you ask for.

Had guests for dinner and the dinner service provided us with everything for a nice table, a well thought out kitchen for cooking. Our favourite thing, however, was the log fire, although not really needed in early October we lit it just to look at it.
