An exceptional cottage. Plenty to see and enjoy. Great springboard to visit York, Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, and of course the North York Moors

  • "Super stay at Beth's Cottage."

Owners couldn't have been more helpful. In fact I'd go as far to say this was the most welcoming cottage we've ever stayed at. From the lovely welcome basket on arrival with lovely wine and fresh eggs, to the high standard and comfort of the accommodation. My only gripe is that we were only there 5 days! The surrounding area is also divine and there are so many beautiful villages to see. I'd like to especially thank the owners who even went so far as to send us on an item we'd left behind. We'll definitely return!

The owners have furnished with thought and care for comfort. The beds were so comfortable with good quality linens which not every cottage owner thinks about. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, the coffee, tea and wine went down a treat.

So well equipped and modern but cosy. We loved everything about it, especially the sofa. I want one in my own house. We are already looking at returning early next year.

  • "We recently spent a lovely weekend at Beth's cottage and couldn't have been happier with the property."

We met the owners (Ally & Glenn) who were great and couldn't do enough for us. They have created 3 wonderful cottages close to their own home, all of which are situated in large grounds. The design, decor and finish to the cottages is all spot on and Beth's cottage was a lovely place to stay. Any negatives are very minor and wouldn't stop me wholeheartedly recommending a stay here to anyone (especially if you have a dog or two). Some USB plug sockets would be good, as well as a hairdryer, but seriously that's about all we could think of as improvements. Easily one of the bet cottages we have ever stayed in. Thanks again Ally & Glenn!

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at Beth’s College."

I got to meet Glenn, the owner and he was so friendly and lovely. They have worked really hard to make this place amazing. The cottage is stunning, with everything you need. They have thought of everything including reading glasses on the book case. Kitchen fully equipped and they have thought about enough glasses and even plastic plates for kids. Bedrooms are lovely and having your own en-suite is fab!! Very clean and the welcome pack with fresh eggs and other bits was excellent. The only one thing I can say is we couldn’t find a hair dryer and with 3 women on a girly weekend, this was needed. Thank you for our stay, I have recommended and we will be back.

This property is perfectly positioned near the small hamlet of East Knapton, between the North Yorkshire moors and the Yorkshire Wolds surrounded by open working countryside.

On arrival, guests will travel down a long sloping gravel drive to arrive at the property where two vehicles can be parked comfortably and hassle-free.

Entering the property, guests will be welcomed to this charming dwelling by a pleasant open planned kitchen/living space which boasts original wooden beams and vaulted ceilings, perfectly complementing contemporary style living with traditional features.

The kitchen area is well equipped, housing a range of modern appliances needed to create a tasty home-cooked feast, whilst also providing a great spot to chat at the breakfast bar before the meal is savoured together at the dining table.

The luxury of bifold doors allows for easy access to the west-facing outdoor space to the rear of the property, allowing guests to enjoy outdoor living even when the weather is unpredictable.

Adjacent to the living area you will find two spacious double bedrooms, both serviced by an en-suite shower room with deluxe fixtures and fittings.

Both bedrooms have plentiful storage and hanging space, each with its own character.

Outside the property, to the front, is a small seating area with views over the North Yorkshire Moors to enjoy your morning coffee or to take a minute to relax to breathe in the country air.
