Everything you would ever need for a stay. Location was perfect for us with plenty of walks close by and lots of things just a short drive away... Whitby, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, runswick bay. Was kept up-to-date by the host as to check in times etc.....already looking forward to our next visit.

  • "Very comfortable and well kept cottage."

Spotlessly clean and with plenty of supplies (cutlery, mugs, dishwasher tablets, loo rolls) super comfy bed, great shower. Good local shops and eateries....

  • "A beautiful, immaculate cottage."

Very comfortable and well equipped. Perfectly placed for all that Marske has to offer.

  • "Beautifully appointed and well placed in the heart of Marske."

My only advice would be to bring your own not stick frying pan ! The enclosed courtyard needs some TLC and there is a smell of drains every now and again.Small points to consider in an otherwise delightful property.Would definately stay again.

The cottage is so homely and feels like it wraps itself around you when you stay. Shops on hand for any forgotten essentials. Will be back again.

  • "Harrington cottage is a real home from home."

Spotlessly clean with a very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need whilst you are away. Cosy snug for evenings in. Comfortable bed too. The courtyard is really lovely with a locked door for security and large patio table for summer evenings. The cottage is ideally situated for days out or to enjoy the local bars and shops. Highly recommend this cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Admire the well-manicured lawns of the Saltburn Valley Gardens and see the Grade II listed building of The Old Mortuary, both well worth a visit.

Redcar boasts plenty to see and do as well from the Kirkleatham Museum with its beautiful grounds, woodland trail, and wide range of exhibitions, to the stunning 360 views to admire from Redcar Beacon, with a day at the races at Redcar Racecourse being a fabulous day out with fixtures held throughout the year.
