It's a lovely well equipped comfortable cottage This was our 4th year at the property, so you will know that we are certainly happy with the property. It's in a great location and the owner was very thoughtful phoning us to let us know that the property was ready for entry before the allotted time. The owner also checked in with us to make sure we were having a nice time and had everything we needed. Personal touches make a difference to a holiday. We will return!

She was friendly and sounded very approachable. Directions were perfect. We were lucky to have a text from Julia to say that we could have early access as the property was ready. No short cuts were taken - the accommodation was immaculate, and very comfortable throughout. A very well equipped kitchen for cooking meals. The welcome pack was much appreciated - thank you. As Julia had not heard from us after a couple of days she made contact via text hoping she wasn't intruding - but wanting to check that we were happy with everything. Never experienced this before - and really does show the level of care and pride that she takes in ensuring your stay is a good one. A big thank you and we hope to return next year!

Super clean, well-equipped, in a stunning location, it was perfect. As the weather was awful (snow, wind, lashing rain) we were super-grateful for the amazingly efficient central heating and the underfloor heating in the bathroom, so no cold toes! We will be back, but it is booking up fast, so we'll have to be quick! Julia the owner was fabulous, helpful and attentive to the small glitch we encountered (nothing to do with the property). A perfect place for walks or just watching the world go by.

No complaints at all. I have been very unhappy with Sykes and the booking process. I paid extra to be able to cancel free of charge. From the time of booking and date of stay my wife's mother died. Given that the main reason for the visit was to see her I tried to cancel. It transpired that the conditions of cancellation were strict and could only cancel if one of the party could not go. On contacting Sykes were told ‘nothing to do with us’ and advised to contact insurance company, which we did to no avail. All very unsatisfactory and website misleading. Will not be recommending or using the company again.
