  • "Compared to other cottages we have stayed at there was a lack of some of the basics we would expect in the kitchen e."

    G. washing capsules for the dishwasher and kitchen paper. The TV was almost unwatchable as it kept buffering every few minutes.

There was dish washer tablets . In cupboard under sink and washing up liquid and I check tv ? Never had a problem befor . Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay, the house was beautiful throughout, very clean and tidy and really comfy beds!"

Central to Beverley, only a 5 min walk into town and the local Tesco. Minimal noise from the train station opposite. Quiet outdoor space, however it is quite small and on the driveway. The house would maybe benefit from a tumble dryer as after a day at the beach it was difficult to get everything dry! Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely book again if heading that way.

Thankyou for a great review Property Owner

  • "Overall, we were fully satisfied with the property - just the odd thing that we thought needed improvement."

As a positive, we thought it might be rather noisy, being so close to the Railway Station. It wasn’t - surprisingly quiet. Very clean, and plenty of crockery, glassware, cutlery etc. Good sized Lounge. Plenty of room for four people, but seven would probably have to have ‘two sittings’ round the table in the Kitchen for meals. A few suggestions for improvement:- Better instructions on how to drive to the parking slot at the rear of the property as you arrive (directions were to the front door) The en-suite shower head/pole didn’t seem to be compatible, and it proved difficult to get the water flow in the right direction It wasn’t obvious which dustbins belonged to the property The bedrooms lacked storage units for non-hanging items (T-shirts, underware etc). Massive hanging wardrobes, which were ‘shouting out’ for internal shelves, or a little internal drawer unit

We will look into this points you raised . Very pleased it was very clean . Comfortable . I will look into storage ? We share bins . And recycling straight opposit car park . thankyou very much for your bookings Property Owner

  • "Lovely amount of space and comfortable beds and seating area."

Easy to get in, owner forwarded parking and wifi details promptly. Very convenient for parking in central Beverley and train travel. However, we missed not having a proper kitchen bin. Some contents from cupboards were obviously dirty (the teapot was covered in brown tea inside and out, a glass had dried squash in the bottom of it, baking trays very greasy). There was no hairdryer or teatowels (these were not on the list of suggested things to bring). The shower rail in main bathroom came down while we were out (maybe due to the hot day) - it was held by suction cups so could put it back up. A few tweaks and accommodation would be perfect.

Sorry there’s a small bin in kitchen . Under sink in the cupboard Property Owner

  • "Had a great stay, everything was clean, tidy and in a new-like state."

Bit of trouble with the TV - couldn't get live telly just YouTube and internet stuff, but made it work. Only niggle was we never found any paperwork for the house - when bin day? what goes in recycling bin? recommend any restaurants? Or any roadside parking permit - we planned to take 2 cars for 7 people staying. In the end OK as only 5 people stayed with 1 car in house parking space so it wasn't needed. Would definitely stay there again, as great location right next to the railway station for day trips, and walking into Beverley itself. And it was surprisingly quiet at night given it's town location.

Sorry about paperwork etc. You were the first to stay in Cockerill. Many apologies. Property Owner
