  • "Cute 1 bedroom cottage."

Very relaxing chilled out break had. Cottage was well equipped for our needs, really comfy bed, good TV with fire stick access to streaming channels. Great walk in shower (only issue was water drainage poor until husband unclogged drain). Freezer section on fridge - door not closing properly (probably needs defrosting). Instruction needed for cooker dials as not clear what symbols meant - had to google in order to figure out to use oven. Nice enclosed courtyard to sit out weather permitting. Visits to barnard castle, Eppleby, staindrop, high force, gainford, romalkirk, Middleton in teesdale, eggleston, ovington and Hatton magna. All in all a relaxing break - would return for peace and calmness.

  • "Lovely little cottage."

Very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay and will happily return. Loved the dachshund crockery. On the downside, the glassware could do with a refit. Only 2 glasses were the same. The heating came on and off at really strange times, may need to be looked at. The courtyard is really in need of some tlc. But, all in all we enjoyed our stay.

  • "Housekeeping needed attention, curtain hanging off in bedroom, toilet seat cracked, fridge door shelf cracked, bathroom windowsill very grubby, cooker extractor fan dirty."

I wdnt over all surfaces with disinfectant spray. Notified owner James who promptly replaced toilet seat and said would have conversation with the new housekeepers. The bed was extremely comfortable. Site very clean and well looked after. Not really anywhere to walk to with a dog apart from round site perimeter, car necessary.
