"Just had a lovely weekend at keepers cottage."
The property is comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. The garden is secure and my dogs loved it. The village is also lovely and the people are very friendly. There is a shop and pub close by. I hope to be able to go back and stay at keepers cottage again in the future.

"Everything you can think of was provided which made it instantly feel like a home from home."
A nice touch was already having some supplies there like tea coffee and even some crumpets which were a godsend for hungry folk after a 6 he drive. Gorgeous little cottage nestled nicely in Nafferton village. Close enough for days out driving and taking in the local hotspots of York, Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby, which we made full use of. Spotlessly clean, warm and cosy and just perfect for our visit to family nearby.
Glad you enjoyed it , please come and visit again . Property Owner

"Very comfortable cottage, clean and well equipped."
My husband would have liked a teapot! But obviously thats not necessary for everyone. Some details on what recycling, rubbish went in which bin would have been helpful- it was guess work, as every area allows different things. We had a lovely week thank you, lots of walking, really convenient place to access most of the Wolds. Good local buses and trains to get about, as an alternative to using car.
Thank you , If you visit again a teapot will be there for you . Property Owner

"Had a great week here."
homely and comfortable with everything you need and we would go again if in the area again. Village is friendly and also plenty of dog walking opportunities. Owner is friendly and unobrusive too. Handy also for Beverley, Hoensea.Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby, York etc. Bempton is close too if you are into bird watching so something for everyone.

"Lovely little cottage in a lovely village perfect to explore the area of North Yorkshire and coast line"

"Our preference we found the bed way too soft, and we had to buy a hairdryer, which we have never come across in a rental property or hotel."

"A lovely cottage in a nice village."
A small but nice welcome pack. The cottage is clean, comfortable and reasonably well equipped with a nice enclosed garden. The only things missing are oven gloves and better than one ply toilet paper. The hot water was a little short of pressure. Parking was never an issue. The only major fault is that the wi-fi is woeful. However we would stay again and recommend it to friends.

"Very clean & comfortable."
Fantastic communication from the owner (Michael) & comprehensive treats on arrival. Our general view was nothing had been skimped on - things like clingfilm, foil, kitchen roll, hand-wash all provided and good quality towels & bedding. We didn't use the coal fire (again plenty of supplies to do so) instead what Michael had set the heating at was more than adequate. We were sorry to leave a day early due to our dog needing to go to the vet, she is our absolute priority & unfortunately we had to leave in a rush. We always got a car parking space immediately outside. I noticed a comment that people can see into the cottage, I don't think we noticed anyone peering in! Nafferton is a small, quiet, picturesque village & the road outside is very quiet. It is well situated for visiting, within a short-moderate drive, Bridlington (the Old Town is pleasant with antique shops), Filey (lovely promenade & Sterchi's chocolate shop!), Hornsea (again great seafront & a free all day car park) & Malton (Food Capital of Yorkshire). In essence highly recommended the cottage and can't rate it highly enough. With many thanks to Michael.

"We had a short stay at keepers cottage everything was as advertised, and a few goodies left by owner to start are holiday was great:) Beds were comfortable and everything clean, The only thing that was a small issue was the missing fence panel in the garden to the left of the kitchen door."
(Weather was poor so we didn't use the garden much) Nafferton is a beautiful village and keepers cottage was a great base for visiting York, Bridlington and Beverly.
Glad you enjoyed your stay , and you are right Nafferton is very nice , as to the fence panel there has never been one there , just that 4 ft brick wall , historically there was a walkway that gave access to the whole run of cottages at the rear but mine was bricked up by a previous owner . "The cottage is in a great position within the village with easy parking."
There is little privacy in the front of the cottage being by a busy walkway, with no blinds or curtains people look in the windows. We had a lot of black flies which was unpleasant. There is a “whiff” of dog in the cottage which needs addressing. All points easily remedied for what otherwise is a comfortable place to stay.
We are dog friendly and the cottage always gets a good clean in between guests , we are very close to the countryside so sometimes get the odd fly coming in , hope it didn’t spoil your stay too much Property Owner

"A lovely few days away at ‘Keeper’s Cottage’."
A clean and tidy property with everything that you will need for a home from home break. Good communication from the owner and a lovely welcome gift of some essentials. We were blessed with the weather and the cottage location was perfect for our trips out to Flamborough and Bridlington, not to mention the local ‘Blubell Inn’ with a fantastic outdoor beer garden with pizza oven, very reasonably priced

"The house was very clean and comfortable."
Well equipped with everything needed for a home from home. Loved the unexpected welcome pack. The house is very handy for the Bluebell Inn - would recommend a visit there. The train station was only half a mile away with trains to Bridlington one way and to York going the other way.

Be welcomed into the living/dining room with wooden beams, charming furnishings and a Freeview TV for a relaxing retreat after the day's adventures; your dog will love curling up in front of the open fire, whilst you sink into the inviting leather sofas.
Set the table for four as the group's chef whips up a delicious meal in the neighbouring kitchen with everything needed for your self-catering stay, including a washing machine for muddy walking gear and sandy towels.

Get ready in the bathroom, complete with a heated towel rail for a warm, fluffy towel after a soak in the tub or rinse in the shower over.
You'll find a coffee machine in the kitchen to whip up a round of coffees to kick-start your morning and plan the day ahead; stock up in Nafferton's convenience store or take a break from the kitchen in one of three country pubs, whilst the surrounding countryside is perfect for walkers.

Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast is just next door for incredible vistas, birdwatching along RSPB Bempton Cliffs and historic lighthouses.

Where you’ll be staying
NAFFERTON
Driffield 2 miles; Bridlington 9 miles; York 29 miles.
The village of Nafferton is conveniently situated in the pretty countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, yet only 2 miles from the market town of Driffield and 9 miles from the seaside resort of Bridlington. A large village, with mainly traditional dwellings that cluster around the mere and village greens, it is served by three country pubs, a village shop, a post office and a fish and chip shop. The railway station there is only 2 minutes walk away and extremely useful; only one stop to Bridlington and four to Scarborough! This is a lovely area for gentle walking, exploring the countryside and visiting stately homes and gardens such as Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall. A short ride takes you to the popular east coast seaside resorts with their long sandy beaches, whilst the historical City of York, with its famous minster, is well worth a visit.
