• "The house was absolutely immaculate it was a pleasure to stay there."

  Alan kept in touch to advise us on arrival time and any other information we may require he was a gem. Easy access to Pickering 5 minute walk and bus services to Scarborough, Whitby, York, even Leeds and you can use you buss pass!!!! We never used the car once whilst away. We would not hesitate to use this lovely house again and would recommend to all Chriss and Alan B

• "Had the most amazing stay, the house was beautiful and we instantly felt at home, everything you could possibly need was provided and an unexpected food parcel was extremely appreciated."

  The Christmas tree was a lovely thought and the fact that it snowed during our stay made it extra special. Pickering itself is a great base with Whitby, Scarborough, Dalby forest and other walks and places to visit within a short drive. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back and stay again in the future. Thank you so much to Alan and John.

  Very well equipped. Only short distance to walk into Pickering, parking for 2 cars. Lovely warm n cosy front room with really comfortable leather chairs n big TV! Welcome food pack very much appreciated! Nothing to fault at all!

• "2 Derwent road, is Probably the Very Best Holiday Home you could wish to stay in, It is Absolutely immaculate, it lacks for nothing , it is modern warm Spotless, and is central for all your days out , Pickering town centre is a 10 min walk away , by car major tourist attractions are within easy travelling distance, would we stay hear again, in a Heartbeat !"

• "The property was very modern and clean."

  Easy to find with an ample parking area. 5 minutes walk from Pickering town centre with its many shops. The hosts were very friendly and helpful,suggesting places to visit and places to eat in the town. A great base if staying in North Yorkshire. Excellent.

• "Lovely comfortable house."

  Few comments: Table in kitchen very small for 4 people. Couldn’t find a corkscrew. No large bowls. Pamphlets on local attractions would have been useful.

• "Our stay at Derwent Road was lovely."

  The house is very well furnished and fitted with everything you need for your stay. Alan kept us updated on how to access the key on arrival and kept in touch throughout our 3 night stay. The welcome pack was a nice surprise, thank you. Good quality furniture is very comfortable, beds, reclining sofas and dining chairs. Very clean throughout the property and lovely garden with seating area. Convenient 2 car parking space adjacent to the property. The siting of the property gives easy access to Pickering, Thornton Le Dale, Malton and other market towns. Not too far to venture to Whitby, Scarborough and York. We would recommend this property and wouldn't hesitiate to visit again in the future.
