• "Nice, comfortable, well equipped, spacious house, well located for exploring Scarborough and the area around."

  The 10 adults and 6 children of our party were able to separate and come together without feeling crowded. There is easy access to buses and the town centre and it's only minutes away from the cliff gardens and the beach beyond (Took a bit longer to walk back up though).

  Fabulous house , gorgeous interior and very comfortable and spacious , it had everything we needed for our stay 14 of us in total but there was plenty of space for everyone , loved that everyone had their own en suite too

• "We couldn’t have chosen better than Spinnaker House for our large family group."

  The house has such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Wonderfully equipped, lovely and clean, comfortable beds with good quality linen. We had no problem finding parking on the streets nearby. No complaints at all.

• "Had a lovely stay with extended family at Spinnaker House."

  The house met our needs perfectly. Every bedroom was tastefully furnished and the bathrooms all excellent so no arguments about who gets the best room! House is immaculately clean and seemed to have been recently refurbished. Well located, just a short walk from the centre. Very well equipped kitchen.

• "Absolutely brilliant holiday in a gorgeous house."

  We were so close to the beach, castle, old town and town centre. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our multi generation family holiday. The owners thought of everything and there were nice little touches like prosecco, tea and coffee. The kids loved playing Foosball and watching movies in the snug whilst we relaxed around the table chatting with a glass of wine. I would recommend Spinnaker house to anyone.

• "We had a fabulous break at Spinnaker House!"

  Lovely family time in a beautiful home, clean and everything there we could possibly need. Beach in easy reach and lovely little local shops to get essentials. Thanks to Claire for making our stay so comfortable. Definitely want to return!

• "This property is absolutely beautiful."

  The age range of our party was 3 months to 86 years and there was everything required for all of us. The kitchen had everything needed for home cooking. Bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate. I would definitely recommend this property. Thank you Claire for your communications.

• "This house was amazing to fit my family of 15 over new years."

  We were all very happy with the bedrooms especially to get an ensuite each. The house was big and roomy and we all fit comfortably. The foosball table was a huge hit! The house was very clean and well set out. We were close to the beach, cafes and bars which was perfect for our walks each day. We would definitely return to this house as we all loved Scarborough.

• "A beautiful property, exceptionally maintained & well equipped."

  The kitchen has everything you need for a large group of people, plenty of crockery, pans & glasses. All rooms were clean and comfortable and well thought out.The welcome pack was much appreciated. Location is ideal, easy to walk to town or down to the beach through the gardens to the spa. The table football was a great hit. Would certainly return and definitely one of the nicest properties we have visited.

• "13 family members aged 4 to 81 have just spent a wonderful week at Spinnaker House."

  The photographs of the house do not do it justice. A house built in 1900 now completely refurbished to the highest of standards. The facilities are excellent and the smallest of details have been thought of to ensure people of all ages can enjoy their stay and yet not be afraid to make it their temporary home. The kitchen area is huge. It looks quite narrow in the photographs but isn't, similarly the dining room and sitting rooms which are all larger than they appear to be on the photographs. There is a generous and plentiful supply of crockery, pans of every sort and glasses and mugs of every type. Similarly the cutlery. A huge double cooker, two fridges, a large freezer and dishwasher add to the facilities. Even serviettes are provided together with very welcome and generous gifts on arrival. The games room was a welcome asset and a fun place to be. Additional games are provided too. The bedrooms were all spacious and furnished with high quality decor, most of which are ensuite. A welly boot holder and trays to hold all the shoes a large family have with them, add to the facilities. Dogs are welcome. The owners and the cleaner are excellent. Nothing was a trouble to them. Minor queries we had pre arrival were answered promptly and positively. The plan of the house we were sent really aided our planning too. We truly felt the owners went the extra mile for all guests, Ideally situated, the house is in a safe area only a couple of minutes from the sea. Takeaways and restaurants were very close by and also excellent. What more can I say except go to Spinnaker House. You won't regret it!

• "Had a marvellous short stay."

  It really is very nice. Beautifully decorated, towels and bedding very good, beds comfortable. The whole house was cleaned to a very high standard. Can't fault it or owners, who kept in touch to check if all was OK. Near to beach, approx 10 minute walk. Parking no problem. Wine and biscuits left for us. We were a family of 9, ages ranging from 70 to 13. Plenty of room to spread out. Property is on 3 floors, 2 ground floor bedrooms if needed. Football table was a great hit with everyone. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Bathrooms to a very high standard. I could go on but try it yourself, you will not be disappointed. Well done, so well maintained. I would highly recommend this property.

• "Even though we could see the property was well appointed when booking, we weren’t prepared for how large the property was, how beautifully furnished it was and how comfortable it was."

  Simply gorgeous. Spinnaker House is a 5-10 minutes walk from South Beach and within easy reach of the rest of the amenities of Scarborough. It is situated in a fairly quiet part of Scarborough which is lovely if, like us, you want to be away from the immediate hustle and bustle of the busy seaside Promenade - we stayed for a week at the end of August (during the school holidays). The home owners were lovely, very helpful and quick to respond to any queries and questions. We would definitely look to book this delightful house again if we return to Scarborough as a larger group and we would highly recommend booking this house if you are holidaying as a larger group.

• "We spent 4 days at spinnaker house 5 adults 4 kids and 2 dogs it is a lovely big house with 2 enclosed courtyards which where ideal for kids and dogs to play safely ,the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of pots pans utensils ect and even had plastic plates cups and cutlery for the little ones which was ideal for us ."

  Most of the bedrooms where ensuite and had comfy beds with good sheets ,duvets and plenty of pillows there was also a large bathroom with a bath .games where also provided in the cupboard, we loved the pizza game there was also a football table but the kids where too small to use it but they loved to sit in the little snug and play.The house is a short walk away from the rose gardens and also there is a cliff lift to go down to the spa and on to the beach . There was plenty of parking outside the house or in the street opposite .The downstairs bedrooms are good if you have disabilities but there are steps up to the property at the front but there is a back gate that is reached from the street behind which we used for the pushchair and dogs as this takes you into the utility room.All the family loved our few days away and the owner kept in touch to make sure everything was ok ,would definitely recommend for a large group .
