  • "What is not to like about the Manor House."

Beautiful kitchen dining lounge area. It’s a huge space. Super comfy beds. And a lovely hot tub The house is down a small lane so no traffic noise. However within walking distance of the pub. Seamer is perfectly placed for exploring Scarborough Filey Bridlington and Whitby. Seamer even has its own train station with direct trains to the coast. Craig is on call should you need him. We didn’t. We were a family party with kids and partners in early 20’s and all want to go back Book the Manor House you really won’t be disappointed

High quality appliances and finish. Couple of things needed a little attention, left a note for owner, coffee machine was brilliant, just needed a clean, that sort of thing. We would recommend it in a heartbeat though

  • "Beautiful holiday home, well equipped and comfortable."

The facilities were good, huge TVs and a lovely hot tub. Lots of space inside and parking for a large family gathering. To improve I would suggest redecorating the single room in a more neutral colour, it is currently very feminine - not to the taste of teenage grandsons! The travel cot is small, only suitable for a baby not a toddler. I would like more housekeeping information; how to work the microwave, when to put bins out etc. Overall a really nice property which we would be happy to return to in future.

  • "This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and will definitely be booking again."

The only suggestion I would make is a pool table in the smaller living room or in the room to the right if the front door as you come in. This is a personal choice and not a criticism I just think it would be a real asset for families like mine with varied agegroups. Excellent all round as usual.

Hi Martin Thanks for feedback a games room is already planned for the room on the right next to the front door Look forward to showing you it next time you stay Property Owner

Craig (owner) was very helpful also, letting us know of local attractions and we were even able to access the property early which with a small child was so helpful. We will definitely be returning.

The house is amazing, well equipped and beautifully set out. We were a party of 10 ranging from age 5 - 77 and all loved the place. Craig the owner phoned me in the day of check in to wish me a happy birthday and to tell me the house was ready early. I thought this was a lovely touch. I can certainly see why people comeback here. This is by far the best. Holiday home I have ever stopped in.

The house was fantastic with large screen tvs, 2 sitting rooms and a huge hot tub for a great spa at the end of the day! Seamer village is lovely, the general store was one of the best smaller shops we’ve shopped at and even stocks Cook food. Seamer is well placed and only takes a 15 min drive to the beaches at Scarborough. Loads to do our highlights we’re visiting Castle Howard for Christmas and the Sea Life centre. Craig was a great host, really responsive to any queries, contacted us before our stay too. We will definitely be back!!

Group of eleven people all ages from 85yrs to 8 months old, plus 2 dogs. Lovely enclosed garden safe for small children and dogs, hot tub which we used several times in the week. Kitchen very well equipped with lots of extras, all 4 double bedrooms all large, and even the large single could just fit in a double bed if wanted. Maybe a bit more information on how to work some of the kitchen's equipments worked eg: lights under kitchen units as we couldn't work out how to turn off during the day. Craig the owner was very helpful when we needed his help. Thank you for a lovely time

It provided everything we needed. A great location in a lovely village with shop and restaurants within walking distance. One restaurant/pub even had an indoor softplay for the kids so we walked along there a few nights. But equally a short drive into Scarborough or to Flamingo Land for fun day out then back home to chill in the luxury and comfort of the house. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need and the owner was in touch to check we were ok. Provided the perfect stay for us and will definitely be going back. !! We booked The Manor House to celebrate a 60th Birthday with family - 4 adult couples. The listing made the house sound amazing but the reality was beyond our expectations. The location was perfect & although we did go to one of the pubs in the villages & had a trip to Scarborough we really wanted to spend time in the house together. All the bedrooms were spacious & luxurious so there was no arguing over allocation & no-one was disappointed. The kitchen / lounge was perfect for group get togethers with plenty of seating. The equipment was all of an extremely high quality - far better than my own home
