  • "Nice setup of private cottages and own small forecourt with great parking."

It has its own restaurant, the food quality was beautiful and served was good. The cottage was clean and cosy. The heating system was great, but there was a few area where it was lacking. The living room TV need updating in size and possibly some comfy chairs excl. the main sofa. Kitchen could do with a better choice of dishes, glasses, bowls etc. and the main bed and mattress needs replacing due to the noise of it and comfort. If the above was changed, we think this could be 5 star and a far more comfortable/ enjoyable stay.

Tyreman Court

Three delightful, single-storey cottages in a courtyard setting of five properties, in a quiet location in the coastal village of Skinningrove. These Skinningrove cottages have been built on the site of the original stables which housed the pit-ponies serving the old mine in the village, and have been thoughtfully designed, decorated and furnished to offer very comfortable, contemporary accommodation. Outside, the cottages share a communal garden area with lawned and gravelled areas, ideal for sharing an evening drink. Close to the Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum and Cleveland Way National Trail, and within easy reach of the beautiful moors and coastal countryside around, these lovely Skinningrove cottages make a great base for exploring the area, including the picturesque villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay, and the historic town of Whitby.
