  • "We booked all 3 apartments has a family and we were delighted with whole place."

    Each apartment was well thought out in design and the facilities offered. it allowed us to gather has a family in the down stairs apartment for food drinks an a catch up.the downstairs apartment has bifold windows which allowed the dogs in and out freely with some lovely hanging lights. There was everything you could possibly need. washers, dishwashers,all your cleaning equipment and complimentary tea coffee and milk and biscuits for your arrival,shower shampoo and soap and towels.the beds and sofas were comfortable too. We loved everything about this place. Just down the road were some lovely gardens to walk around that overlooked the beach and town an the walk down to town was lovely, a little Cliffe tram is available if your not up for the walk down or back up. Parking out front or on the side street is freely available.we all loved each apartment and would definitely return.also great that each apartment can be rented out independently of the others is good there is keypad security to each apartment for this reason.

  • "After our stay at the Salthouse we can honestly say it was really lovely."

    Although an issue initially with power loss on the second day occurred it was swiftly resolved. The out of hours service was brilliant and Lucy looked after us exceptionally both in preparation and during our stay. Thankyou once again we will definitely be coming back

  • "There was no hot/warm water & the apartment was 9 degrees on arrival, this managed to increase to 14 degrees."

    The owner was made aware & a plumber visited the following day unable to fix the problem. The owner moved us to the apartment 1 downstairs. The apartment was warmer but there was the same problem with the water. There was no attempt to resolve this, so we had no hot or warm water for the entire stay, which was December/Jan. Family with 2 children. The owner thinks that it's OK to treat guests this way and refuses any form of compensation! Appalling. This must be an ongoing issue as the cleaner commented they'd had people mention it before! Stay away unless you like cold showers!

    This feedback is so disappointing and we would like the opportunity to respond... After arriving on 29/12 into Apartment 2 the guest first made us aware of the issue with the hot water on 30/12 at 11.30am. A plumber was called out and came to the apartment within the hour and confirmed that there was an issue which couldn’t be fixed straightaway. We immediately offered a move into Apartment 1 downstairs - a larger apartment. As the guest wasn’t happy with the bed configuration (2 kingsize rather than a kingsize and a bunk) we agreed that they could use BOTH apartments for the duration of their stay. On 30/12 our cleaner had tested the hot water in Apartment 1 and messaged me at 4.30pm to confirm that the hot water WAS working (a standard practice of ours). She also tested the water after departure on 3/1 and confirmed that it was working and hot from ALL taps and showers. So as far as we are concerned there were no issues with the water. She did not make the comment to the guest about there being an ongoing issue - she is our regular cleaner and following these comments I have double checked this with her. If you are considering booking a stay with us please read all the other 100% feedback reviews of our property. Property Owner
