  • "Great House and Price!"

the kids loved the games room and the adults thought the beds and rooms were comfortable. Would recommend for large groups, very cozy house.

  • "Great house."

Really big and great layout to accommodate large numbers. 2 large family rooms and a lovely kitchen! The bedrooms were a great size. Location was spot on you can walk to the beach and only a few mins walk to a local small Morrisons which is really handy. Would definitely recommend.

14 of us had a fantastic weekend. 13th-15th September 24. Just be prepared to climb plenty of stairs to the higher floors lol. Would definitely book again!

  • "So many positives about this house, it is exactly as shown when booking and takes your breath away the sheer size of it."

It's such a beautiful property with huge rooms and the comfiest of beds. There is plenty of space to host for a large party so that everyone doesn't feel overcrowded. You don't have to worry about things like kitchen utensils as they have absolutely everything you will need during your stay. Red wine glasses would be an added bonus but thats personal preference. There's two fridge freezers which made all the difference with us being on a hen weekend. There is actually two showers one of which is in one of the single bedrooms, this again was an added bonus when so many of us needed to get ready. The water pressure in both was fantastic. Its literally a 15/20 minute walk to the seafront and the all day parking is not far at all. There was no welcome pack/hamper as stated in other reviews but this wasn't an issue. There was some negatives however. The oven had not been cleaned properly as when we used it there was a strong smell of burning where something hadn't been cleaned inside which caused some smoke, easily rectified though. The large dining table/chairs however had not been cleaned and there was crumbs everywhere so we needed to clean that down before we set up our grazing table, again nothing that couldnt be fixed but definitely not something we should have had to do as guests arriving. There were dead flys on one of the bathroom floors and we were unable to open any of the windows in either of the living rooms and some bedrooms. There's no frosted glass in the main bathroom just a net curtain which does mean from a certain bedroom and living room people could possibly see in whilst your showering. We also had an issue with slugs on an evening coming into the kitchen and back living room. Despite these things each one of us have said we WOULD definitely book to stay again as a group and to individually bring our own families as it's an ideal property for large groups and has such a lovely feel to it

  • "The property was in a great location, near South Beach."

We walked to the seafront. There was a Sainsbury's local nearby as well. The house was very big so ideal for a big group. There was a little yard with seating out back which I hadn't spotted on the listing. The host was very helpful and dropped towels round as we had forgotten to bring some. They also let us know that we could check in early as the house was ready.

Thank you so much for the great feedback. So glad you enjoyed your stay xxx Property Owner

  • "We had a great stay at Westbourne House."

It was the perfect size for 14 of us, we all had plenty of space but could also easily gather together. The kitchen had everything that we needed and we also appreciated the little gift basket of goodies that were there on arrival. Each room was really nicely decorated and felt very comfortable. I would definitely recommend to other groups. My only slight criticism would be that some areas were not as clean as they could be, like the windows in the front room, but this really wasn't a deal breaker. Thank you for a lovely stay

  • "I stayed here with family for my daughters birthday."

We will most definitely be back! The house is lovely, as described. The welcome pack left for us in the kitchen was a lovely gesture. The house was clean and decorated to a high standard. Overall, a lovely weekend was had by all.

  • "Enjoyed our stay at 31 Westbourne grove, facilities were great and really appreciated the Christmas tree and decorations."

Just a couple of things that spoilt our time there over the christmas period. The Tumble dryer would not work so couldn't, dry any clothes, every time we pressed the start button , it tripped. The single oven was inadequate over the Christmas period, a double oven would have been better for the cooking we did, we managed but it was a struggle. All in all it was perfect for our stay. Thank you.

  • "We were a group of 9 ladies on a birthday weekend away."

The accommodation suited our needs and was walkable to the beach front and town. This was good, as the free parking was away from the property on neighbouring streets so we parked up for the weekend and walked everywhere. The house was really big, comfortable and clean and great for eating in and relaxing. Take a corkscrew though if you need one! We were disappointed that bath towels were not provided as in previous weekend stays. We also we felt that a 4pm check in was late and a 10am check out was very rushed. Scarborough as a town is quite run down these days, but if all you need is pubs, restaurants and a location to meet with your friends, it was fine for a weekend.

It was beautifully decorated, had some toys for the kids, several toilets and showers, ample space for us all (there were 10 of us), and was brilliantly situated. Any minor issues we had were dealt with immediately and the communication generally was excellent. We’d be happy to go back! Highly recommended, thank you
