  • "Another enjoyable visit to this remarkably conveniently placed holiday home."

It definitely had everything we'd need and expect from an apartment for two. Its proximity to Flamborough, Bempton and other highlights of the coastline are an added bonus to its location near Bridlington's own seafront. It's also worth mentioning that when we had a query, Ben got back to us immediately, from his honeymoon! He then continued to check with us when he'd returned home. Impressive. We'd like to return to continue our exploration of the surrounding coast and countryside. Thank you.

Thankyou so much for the lovely review. Once again I'm so pleased you had a lovely stay and made the most of the surrounding areas. Always a phone call away to make sure all guests have a comfortable and stress free stay ☺️. I do look forward to you returning in the future, once again thankyou and take care of yourselves. • "Disappointing We appreciated the convenience of locality of the property and the off road parking ."

When we arrived the radiators were switched off .We expected them to be on at an ambient temperature with simple instructions to increase the temperature. We switched them on and the kitchen one became dangerously hot to the touch The other 2 did not respond .The lounge then worked spasmodically for the next few days. The hall one never worked. The weather was relatively mild so we were fine. The last 48 hours of our visit the weather was chilly .We were not ' Cosy'. We found the instruction manual pushed to the back of a cupboard but did not want to interfere with any preset schedules and instructions were very complicated .We could have rung the owner but did not want to waste time on our holiday waiting for something to be sorted that should have been checked in the changeover time. There was no supplementary emergency heating eg.fan heater as is usual in our experience. We did not want to use the wood burner and in any did not have a lighter( not supplied) The TV in the bedroom mostly could not be used reception was poor and it pixelated on all channels. The bins outside were overflowing when we arrived and remained so.There were a number of flies in the property possibility as a result . We did enjoy some lovely walks and the scenery and a good visit to Whitby.

I'm sorry to hear this. The instructions for the heaters are always left in a convenient place for the guests and are there to followed if guests aren't sure how to use the thermostat. The heaters don't get up to a temperature that becomes (dangerously hot to touch), a lighter for the wood burner is always kept on the hearth. The TV signal is out of the owners hands, If the weather hasn't been great then it's possible for the TV signal to drop. The apartment is in a block of flats that have permanent tenants so from time to time the external bins will have rubbish in them but are never overflowing and are always kept clean and tidy. • "Once again we enjoyed our stay at the Cosy Coastal Holiday Let."

The Flat had everything we needed except the weather. It was clean and comfortable. Just big enough for two guests. A short walk to the Spa Theatre, town and shops. We would recommend a stay at this property. We will return again in the future.

Thankyou so much for the lovely feedback and that you had another enjoyable stay. Hopefully the sun will be shining when you return in the future. Property Owner

  • "The flat was very clean and well presented throughout although I think the bathroom could do with a little TLC at some point."

The off road parking was a great bonus. My main comments would be: 1. A lack of a hair dryer. I have never stayed in any accommodation where one is not supplied. Ended up having to go out and purchase one. 2. A very basic requirement in any flat/cottage is kitchen roll. There weren’t any provided and again, we had to purchase some. 3. The washing up liquid had only about ½ cm in the bottom. Had to use it vary sparingly other wise we would have had to purchase that too. These are all items that I feel should not have to be purchased. 4. And finally, a suggestion for me personally, would be to provide a further set of pillows. Not everyone likes to sleep on the very flimsy ones that were provided. Other than those few points, it was a very relaxing stay on a quiet street.

Thankyou for your feedback Not all b&bs/hotels provide hairdryers as they are easily taken, spare kitchen roll and washing up liquid is kept in the under the sink and spare pillows are kept under the staircase, sorry that these items weren't noticed in your stay. Other than that I'm happy you enjoyed the stay and all feedback is taken on board. Property Owner

The location is perfect for walking along the coast to Sewerby or alternatively the other way to Wilsthorpe. Very close to the Harbour! On arrival we had a slight problem with the heating and the owner came out immediately to get it sorted. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would book again in the future.
