With an abundance of walking routs from the doorstep you also have a good pub, well stocked Spar shop and butcher along with the garage within 2 mins walk. Great place to explore the Yorkshire Dale's from and the hosts have just about thought of everything to make you more than comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very clean. Useful to have a washing machine. We found it very comfortable and cosy with the log fire. Very good location for visiting all over the Yorkshire dales.

  • "Lovely well equipped house."

Parking in the street was not too much trouble. Very nice welcome pack. Beds were very low to the ground which made it a bit difficult to use as my wife and I are 71. Other than that perfect. .

  • "Probably rates as one of the best cottages we've rented."

Beautifully appointed. High quality fixtures and fittings. Easy walk to an excellent Spa which also houses a local butcher who sells the most wonderful meat products. Pub over the road is ok but not great. But you are only a mile walk from the cornucopia that is Grassington.

  • "This gorgeous cottage was in an a lovely quiet area and yet very central to many walks, and places of interest."

The cottage was really nicely done out and was very comfortable. It was also close to a local pub and a local Spar/Garage which had a wide range of foods stuff if required including a local butcher selling their local produce of fresh meats and ready made meals. The welcome pack went above and beyond - many thanks.

  • "Lovely, lovely cottage."

Just a few minor things that we would have liked to have been provided- no tongs for when cooking bacon etc, no grater for grating cheese so had to use a knife! Oh, and one final thing, no shaver socket in bathroom 12v, for charging shaver or electric toothbrush- unfortunately we had to buy a pack of 3 manual toothbrushes halfway through the week as it had run out. All in all though super cottage would like to return again.

  • "Park Grange Cottage is set in a stunning location and everything you could possible need to make your stay comfortable is provided by the owner."

On arrival there was a lovely welcome pack which we thoroughly enjoyed and the cottage had been cleaned to a very high standard. Despite the age of the cottage it has been tastefully decorated and brought up to date with quality fixtures and fittings. It is also very cosy with central heating and a wood burning stove for chilly evenings, lots of hot water too, comfortable beds and lovely views over the village green. The location is perfect for walks straight from the door or short drives to places such as Bolton Abbey, Skipton, Ripon, Brigham Rocks etc. There are lots of places to eat out and a local food store and petrol station in the village. We hope to stay at Park Grange again in the future and can certainly recommend the property.

Threshfield is a thriving local community. A few minutes drive is Grassington, one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find traditional stone cottages, galleries, restaurants and shops, which are clustered around the cobbled market place, plus a monthly farmers' market provides a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce.
