Scenic walks down to the river and along the pristine countryside will lead you to the neighbouring village of Grassington, brimming with boutique shops and pubs.
Within a short drive Burnsall, Bolton Abbey and Ilkley can be discovered, with Kettlewell and Malham situated to the West.
Many of the Yorkshire Dales' finest attractions are within driving distance, Skipton with its famous canals and high street market are well worth a visit.
