The property
Situated in the rolling countryside fields on the outskirts of Hovingham, in North Yorkshire, is this fabulous, detached white stone cottage.
Tuft House offers friends and families alike the perfect base for a truly rural holiday, with easy access into the North York Moors National Park.
Internally, the cottage has been renovated by the owners to provide a light and welcoming accommodation, with high-quality furnishings throughout.
Upon entering the ground-floor accommodation, you will be greeted into a convenient hallway, where you can store your walking and cycling gear before stepping into the elegantly styled dwelling.
Spend your evening keeping up to date with all your favourite shows and enjoying quality family time in one of the two sittings rooms or use them as a quiet space to read a good book.
Step into the open-plan living space, with a large kitchen which has been furnished to a high-standard, and will inspire you to dust off those cookbooks and indulge in all the modern appliances at hand.
There is a dining area with seating for up to 18 people, making for a wonderful social space for the whole family to dine together.
All nine bedrooms have a range of modern furnishings, which complement the light decor, and offer an abundance of space to store your personal items, with three of the bedrooms located in the annex, 20 yards from the main property.

The pretty North Yorkshire village of Hovingham sits amidst the beautiful countryside of the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is a real gem, with a beck running down the high street, two excellent inns, a traditional village shop, a tea room and a bakery. There are excellent walking and cycling opportunities from the village itself, as well as easy access to the beautiful National Park. The stately home and gardens of Castle Howard are just 4 miles away, and the market towns of Malton and Helmsley are 8 miles away. Historic York and the attractions of the East Coast are further afield but well worth the trip!
