  • "This was a very nice & spacious property, with lovely decor."

But, could have been a bit cleaner - floors always seem to be a bit of a letdown on holiday. And there were kitchen trays out on the worktop that were dirty. The areas around the two security gates really need some lighting. And we did have problems locking & unlocking the front door. And finally the shower power was not great at all. Overall a pleasant stay. Great week in Whitby & excellent weather!

  • "The cottage was clean and tidy and had a fine view of Whitby."

It was in a good location and easy for us to get to the venues we wanted to visit. It would have been nice to have a phone number of the owners because I would have liked the parking scratch cards to have been explained. I only had a phone number for Booking.com, and was given the wrong information regarding the parking. It is a lovely cottage and we were very pleased with it.

  • "Great location."

Like too many holiday flats, let down by silly little penny pinching. For example, no ladle, faulty scissors, useless peeler, too small pans, casserole. Dining table impossible to manipulate into a coffee table. But overall, good value for money.

  • "Beautiful, it's the little things that make it enjoyable!"

My partner has poor mobility issues for walking distances, it was great for him. We enjoyed the touch of the telescope and sat watching the waves over the harbour walls. Would love to be able to book again. All I can say is fantastic

  • "We have had a very relaxing week , the accomodation was lovely."

We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon and couldn't find any parking so left the car in a carpark overnight. There was no problem finding a space on the Sunday morning and the scratch card system worked well Kind regards Carol Francis

  • "As will be seen from our other feedback answers, we loved our stay, the position, the comfort and that view of course."

However, some things just let you down, things which must have been known about and yet not attended to. The cheap plastic toilet seat and cover were literally hanging off - I had to reattach the fitment myself but even then we lost all confidence in risking our nether regions! The front door lock was not square on to the door frame and so we could not gain entry or leave the property secure without a lot of pushing and pulling the door until we got alignment so that the key would turn - this was not something that just happened for us, it must have been known about and yet ignored. Finally, we had only two loo rolls to last two adults for four days, unless there was a hidden supply somewhere. So, these obviously are not deal breakers but totally unnecessary for us to have to deal with and they tarnish a great property for the want of a little care.

  • "Had amazing stay, what a fab view from lounge window, can see why its upside down but we are used to this as we stay in a lot of upside down properties."

There was everything you could ask for and more we shall defo stay again when we visit whitby.
