  • "We had to contact the owner directly because the Sykes website does not allow you to speak with someone."

The owner was understanding and fabulous to deal with. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Razorbill it is a great property. Has everything you need conveniently close to amenities and a short stroll onto West Cliff. Its actually just around the corner from our favourite Whitby pub the Arch and Abbey. Parking outside the property is a bit tight but we didn't really struggle to find on street parking. This is a deceptively large property with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms . we recommend it and we will be back.

The property

An attractive, modern mews property, quietly tucked away in the heart of the historic port of Whitby.

Offering light and airy accommodation, the property is set over three floors, with the spacious open plan living area on the first floor.

Comfortably furnished in a contemporary style, there are leather sofas and chairs and a well-equipped kitchen, whilst patio doors open onto a large balcony, with seating and wonderful views stretching over the roof tops.

On the ground floor, there is the added benefit of two single bedrooms, one with TV and the other with a range of children's board games; both rooms afford a private space, and there is also a double bedroom with TV and an en-suite shower room, as well as the family bathroom.

With the king-size bedroom and shower room set on the second floor, there is excellent flexibility to suit all needs.

Outside, is an enclosed rear courtyard, whilst the balcony is above, enabling guests to sit and relax and take advantage of the sunshine throughout the day.

With off road parking for one car, a rare find in Whitby, this splendid property is ideally placed on the quieter side of Whitby, but with all amenities still only on the doorstep.

Explore the labyrinth of quirky narrow streets and ginnels, stroll down to the harbour and cobbled market place and climb the 199 steps up to the famous Abbey, with breathtaking views along the coastline.

You are spoilt for choice with numerous restaurants, pubs, wine bars and quaint tea rooms, whilst all visitors must sample the renowned fish and chips!

Enjoy the long sandy beaches, with brightly painted beach huts, donkey rides and seafood stalls, whilst the surrounding area offers a wealth of attractions, whether it's a trip on the steam train, exhilarating clifftop walks, or discovering the pretty fishing villages of Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes.

A superb base for a memorable family holiday.
