  • "Enjoyed our stay very much."

Very spacious and comfortable property. Lovely views and plenty to do in the area. Loved the sauna. The owner was very friendly and welcomed us on our arrival. We will be back.

  • "We loved the space and layout of the property."

The sauna is a lovely touch after long days walking to warm up and ease the muscles. A real home from home. Thanks for the water cooler too - it was superb, as you said, and we managed to drink it all in a week! The shower was lovely and powerful and we enjoyed a hot bath after our days out in the mountains. The location is excellent. We got out as far as the Cairngorms and Aviemore went up the mountain. We went up the gondola at the Nevis Range and on to Fort William and then over to Ullapool via the gorge on another day. Just taking a full tour around Loch Ness is a day out in itself with varied landscapes. We walked down into Drumnadrochit one day for lunch at the Fiddlers. It isn't far at all but it is a very steep walk. So much to do in the area and wonderful to have the warm, comfortable Glenview to come back to.

Thank you for your feedback - it is so lovely to know that our guests enjoy the wonderful surroundings we have. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely warm welcome from the property owner along with some Scottish treats waiting for us in the kitchen."

Another great feature was the water cooler with some of the local ‘Fionnar’ spring water, which was very refreshing! This property has absolutely beautiful views overlooking Drumnadrochit - sitting in the living room was an absolute pleasure at any time of day. The house was really spacious and comfortable - the convenience of en-suites for every room was also a great feature. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was a perfect base for exploring the many beautiful areas in and around Loch Ness.

  • "Lodge as described very spacious and well presented."

Located in a lovely isolated spot and as the name suggests a great view over the glen. Stay was marred by the the fact a bottle of malt whiskey that I purchased to drink whilst on holiday had the distillery seal around the bottle neck. Strangely later on in the weeks stay when I went to get a drink from the bottle the seal had been broken and the contents swapped with what I can only describe as a cheaper alternative. I know it’s not the original contents as it is a regular brand I drink and has a much darker colour and a lot more harsher taste and smell about it. I am not happy that you can’t leave your belongings in a holiday home without it being interfered with. Shame because like I said lovely property in a fantastic location and would not recommend or return because of this.

  • "We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week at this really beautiful house that has the most fantastic views and is away from traffic and noise and surrounded by an abundance of nature."

Plenty garden space to play with our nervous dog and a private road to amble along. Chris the owner is lovely and very helpful and the house has everything you could possibly need including complimentary local spring water. We cooked and ate in most evenings as we had acquainted ourselves with the food and coffee at the many lovely cafes and bistros during our days spent exploring Drumnadrochit, Loch Ness, beautiful Beauly, stunning Glen Affric and around the Black Isle. Bring binoculars and worth getting a good Map of the area.
