  • "Lovely location."

Perfect for hill walking and off road cycling. Nice property and well equipped. Very friendly owner/manager on site. Only downsides are that I the property is part of a complex with several other similar holiday let’s so lacks seclusion and the kitchen space is tiny. So while it is well equipped you have to be very organised to cook and keep everything tidy!

We are so please you enjoyed your stay in Larch Cottage and the surrounding area. It was lovely meeting you. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Kind regards, Adam & Leanne Property Owner

  • "Overall the accommodation was excellent."

The only thing it would have been useful for us to know is that the bathroom is accessed from the bedroom. This is purely because we have a baby, so putting them to bed and needing to go to the bathroom after their bedtime was a bit tricky to avoid waking them. Had we known in advance we could have planned a bit better. But this is a very minor point and otherwise everythig was perfect.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Lovely to hear you thought the accommodation was excellent. Sorry you found it tricky with your young baby and the bathroom being an en-suite, I have checked our listing on Sykes for accuracy for future guests and it is mentioned in the description. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards, Adam & Leanne Property Owner

  • "We have had the best holiday staying at Larch!"

We cannot believe we managed to get this beautiful accommodation at the short notice, after our original booking cancelled with 7 days to go. From the moment we pulled up we was so happy, the cottage is beautifully decorated with high end items and furniture and it was exceptionally clean. You have access to a gym, sauna and use of bikes, I didn't use but my partner loved the addition of the sauna

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It's lovely to hear you both enjoyed your stay here. So pleased you loved the cottage and facilities. Kind regards, Adam & Leanne Property Owner

  • "We were lucky to be at the cottage in warm weather, but there was one evening when it was cool."

I was so grateful to be able to pop the heating on for an hour as I have an underlying health condition meaning my pain increases with the cold. The cottage was spotlessly clean and fresh on arrival and I was pleased to have access to cleaning tools so that I could leave it clean and tidy. The big bed was so comfy we slept really well. There really wasn't a thing we needed everything was provided. The owners live on site and were friendly and welcoming and it offered reassurance that should we need assistance they were on hand. We would be delighted to return at some point.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review. It's great to hear that you slept really well and had everything you needed. It was lovely meeting you both and Barony too and we'd like to thank you for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy. We look forward to welcoming you all back at some point in the future. • "This was a really lovely cottage."

Beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable with lovely kind touches like the basket of goodies on arrival and the gorgeous luxury toiletries. Nice to have the owners on site in the event of any minor problem and they couldn't be more helpful. It was a great place to return to after a long day out on the hills - and a superb base for any Munro bagger waiting for a good weather window to head out to Ben Alder!

  • "We had a lovely weekend in the cottage."

Everything we needed was there the place was immaculate, milk in the fridge tea coffee on the table , fire set all I had to do was light it . The cottage is cosy and warm a pleasure to come back to after a day out . Contact telephone numbers if you need anything but it was just wonderful to chill out in peace and quiet . I would recommend the cottages for a short or long break. Loads to do and see in a beautiful pert of Scotland. The owners Adam and Leanne keep the place so clean it was like home from home and we hope to return again soon.
