  • "Great spot for exploring Ben Nevis et al."

Thanks Adam. It is a great view of the Ben and did it entice to walk up? Property Owner

  • "This property was amazing."

Such a beautiful place, peaceful, relaxing, great facilities, hot tub was amazing and in a great location to explore. Fantastic location for walking Ben Nevis. The property was well kept, the owners had thought of everything and responded to any queries/ questions. Such a fantastic place to spend a week away in rain or sunshine. I would totally recommend staying here.

Thanks for your comments and glad you enjoyed your stay Property Owner

  • "The listing is not accurate there is not a pub 0."

6 miles from the property nearest one is 4.5 miles away on a busy road that isn’t walkable. We would not have chosen this property had we known, which would have been a shame as it is wonderful and we had a great week, Ben Nevis Visitors Centre is 10 miles away not 2. Nearest shop about 4 miles. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the centre of Fort William The property is wonderful with fabulous views, very well equipped, clean, warm and comfortable, we had a wonderful week and would highly recommend, this stunning property. A couple of points for the owner the hot tub could be warmer, and BBQ which we only used once had seen better days.

Thank you for your comments. All location distances are inserted by Sykes, so I will ask them to review. Hot tub is a commercial hot tub and temp restricted to a max 37 degrees. Will look at BBQ as it was new this year. Property Owner

  • "The property is clean and comfortable with most stunning views."

A great find and we all had a lovely time there despite the weather! (This can be published against the property) This following info is for the owner ….. We were three couples who all loved the house and thought it was comfortable and new with good accessories and equipment. Stunning views The outside needs to be slightly more finished around the house but all in all fabulous. Couple of things to point out if you want feedback. The towel rail in the bedroom at the back does not work The gutters are overflowing so they need attention before they damage the property. We had so much rain that we watched this a lot! Would be nice if there were mirrors in the two single bedded rooms If there had been eight of us the seating in the lounge is a little tight but luckily we were only six! I know there are two other chairs in the kitchen but they aren’t that comfy. We would have enjoyed the hot tub more despite the weather had it been a few degrees hotter but lovely surprise to have it there. Not sure it was mentioned in the details. Please don’t take this as criticism as we were more than happy and satisfied but just thought these few things would be a nice addition. Scotland is amazing and we had a great time. Thank you

I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation, and look forward to staying here next year when we visit the area for the Scottish Six Days Trial.

  • "It was a stunning and beautifully furnished property, the views of Nevis range were amazing from both the inside and outside on the deck."

Quality fixtures, soft furnishings and everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. Owner available if required and very helpful. Absolutely no complaints just a little feedback would be for a socket near the mirror & a seat for hair drying and also maybe door hooks and more shelving in the bathrooms - would not hesitate to return or recommend!

Thanks for your positive comments and also your suggestions. It is always useful to get feedback so we add anything that is missing Malcolm and nancy's Property Owner

  • "Eildan is a new, spacious, well-appointed holiday home."

We had a great stay here - it is nicely situated with beautiful views of the surrounding area with plenty of privacy whilst only being 15-20 mins to Fort William. The house was clean with all of the facilities that we required. There is plenty of outdoor space and once the garden and outdoor areas have become more established (bearing in mind we stayed when it was essentially newly built) it will be even nicer.

  • "A beautiful holiday home with amazing views."

Eildan is perfect for a base to explore the highlands. It’s very comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped with all you need. Hot tub was a lovely bonus , but do take care getting in and out as the steps are not fixed to the ground. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will highly recommend it to family and friends.

Thanks louise and hot tub steps now fixed to the decking Malcom. And nancy's Property Owner

  • "Our family of four rented this lovely, completely new property about 4 miles north of Fort Williams."

The home was in a rural, extremely quiet location and took full advantage of beautiful views over the Highlands from the large deck and windows. The Caledonia canal and Loch Lochy are walking distance, and many other trails including Ben Nevis and walks from Spean Bridge are a 10-15 minute car ride away. The house was very well supplied for self-catering and would have been comfortable with a larger group. We appreciated the washer and dryer and the dishwasher. You will need a car at this property as it is a drive for services, but if you are looking for peace and quiet in a tranquil Highlands setting, you will find it here.
