  • "Had a lovely stay in this comfortable cottage."

Great location and spacious. There were a few things that needed attention, but it didn't impact on our holiday.

  • "The cottage was lovely, very clean (apart from the bath/shower mat), and very nice comfortable beds!"

The sofas were a bit short in the leg, but then I am quite tall!! Everything was there that we needed! Had a couple of nice meals in the pub next door, very handy when we didn’t fancy cooking or had had a long day out! Good location, lots to see locally or further away…..we had a couple of trips to Edinburgh, one was to visit HMY Britannia, well worth it!

  • "An amazing place to stay."

The accommodation was well equipped everything you need for a weeks holiday. It was very clean and cosy. The extra king size bed was very comfortable. We visited the Tankerville hotel and was greeted by a friendly lady who was very welcoming. We dined at the hotel and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend staying at the Yeavering

  • "The property was in a beautiful location- perfect for walking in the stunning national park with lots of trails to follow."

The house comfortable and modern with everything we needed and the dishwasher was a welcome addition. There were only two of us but plenty of space for a family of 4. The bedding and towels were very clean and it smelled really fresh as you walked in. The bed was enormous and so comfy- we slept like a log! 4/5 stars as it wasn’t perfect if I’m being picky- there were no coat hooks; the oven was coming out as we opened the door; the shower leaked which left a patch of damp; and some of the bathroom fixings were wobbly. Having said that, those really are niggles- the parking was great, staff were really friendly; the bed was enormous with a really comfy mattress; stunning views and all the facilities you need; beautifully clean towels and bedding; lovely clean kitchen and cooking facilities; a lovely, warm and cosy place; and the restaurant right on your doorstep. Beautiful place and would happily return and will recommend to family and friends.

  • "Lovely cottage at the side of the hotel."

Good size for 2 people and 2 children. No hairdryer so bring your own if you need one. As per one of the reviews, there are no wardrobes but there are hooks and hangers on bedroom doors and a big set of drawers on the landing. Hotel is really nice, friendly staff and good food. Wooler is perfectly placed to explore Northumberland... And some of Scotland! 30 min drive to Bamburgh, Seahouses for boat trips and Holy Island. The town is less than a 10 min walk from the hotel /cottages and is really nice with 3 pubs, restaurants, hotels and shops. Everyone is friendly. Would definitely visit again!

  • "Nice cottage attached to a nice pub."

Bathroom was downstairs to the upstairs bedrooms which wasn't ideal for nighttime visits for the older people but overall would recommend.

  • "Overall a lovely cottage and we really enjoyed our stay."

Good spacious rooms, clean and a great location for exploring Northumberland. A few additions/thoughts moving forward - the sofas aren’t the comfiest, no wardrobes or storage space for clothes, the cottage wifi stopped working after a few days because the data limit had been reached, a few basic condiments would be appreciated like salt and pepper (the shakers were there. But nothing in them). Overall excellent but a few minor teething problems in this very new listing.
