  • "Would highly recommend."

Only one small downside. The offstreet parking would struggle to accommodate a large SUV or estate car.

The property

An eye-catching blue terraced property with magnificent views of the local estuary and countryside, Estuary View is a fantastic property for a family or group of adults looking to explore the coast and countryside of Northumberland.

Be welcomed into a townhouse overlooking the Aln Estuary and countryside beyond, where the décor is a mixture of traditional paintings, quirky modern art, sculptures and antlers.

Relax in an open and airy sitting room, where there is a huge range of books for you to enjoy beside the glow of a woodburning stove, and a fantastic dining area with intriguing artwork and peach walls.

On the first-floor you will also find a second sitting room with striking blue walls, fashionable blue leather sofas and an old fashioned style carpet, ideal for catching up on your favourite TV shows.

With eye-catching blue tiles, a bespoke recycled glass worktop and ample amenities, cook up a storm in the kitchen.

The charm of the living areas continues into three bedrooms, including a double with amazing estuary and countryside views through a large window, housing a window seat ideal for morning coffee, and two twin bedrooms, one outfitted in orange and the other in blue.

Outside, a split-level terraced garden houses a patio with a sitting area, featuring mature shrubs and a second lower patio with a backdrop of mature trees, ideal for enjoying the countryside views and dining alfresco.

Alnmouth is a pretty seaside town and from the property you will find a private path to the village playground, estuary and sandy beach, ideal for walks, watersports and wild swimming.

Alnmouth has a range of fantastic eateries, however for more shops and independent stores, head over to the famous market town of Alnwick, with its riverside walks through Hulne Park and famous castle, and there is also the option of visiting Warkworth Castle and beach.

Explore the Northumberland coast with a stay at the unique Estuary View.

About the location

ALNMOUTH

Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants.
