This ground-floor apartment has open plan living space, benefits from gas central heating, a small patio where you can sit out on that sunny afternoon and evening, and private parking.
Being just metres from the park and beach near the mouth of the River Aln and a short stroll from all amenities the popular village of Alnmouth has to offer.
Double French doors help to flood the space with light and on sunny days, you can throw open the doors and let the outside in.

The patio is a sunny place where you can pull up a chair and soak up any rays while planning the day’s activities.
At bedtime, there is a choice of two equally well-presented bedrooms, a master and a twin.
The master has a sumptuous king-size bed just waiting for you to rest your weary heads as well as en-suite facilities and the charming twin bedroom offers a restful space.

Where you’ll be staying
ALNMOUTH
Alnwick 4 miles.
Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.

Note: Building work has been taking place opposite Schooner Court 1 and 2. This is nearing completion (four out of seven units are fully finished) but as of October 2024 work has temporarily ceased. We do not know when it will resume but when it does, there will be some activity on the remaining three properties (external paving to be laid plus internal fitting out to be done). When the work is completed, the road will be resurfaced. Neither the owners of Schooner Court 1 and 2 or Northumbria Coast & Country Cottages have any control over the neighbouring works, but at some time during the midweek (work is not permitted at the weekend) there may be some activity. We will monitor the work and update this information as necessary.
