"Laburnum Cottage was fantastic."
It was incredibly clean, comfortable and the facilities were great, the cottage has been finished to a very high standard. The location was ideal for exploring, a short walk to all amenities in Alnwick. We hope to visit again!

Easy drive to loads of local attractions and short walk into town.

"Fabulous week spent in Alnwick."
Laburnum cottage was perfect in every way for our week in Northumberland. Lots to extra touches to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Parking for 2 cars was no problem. Grandparents, children, grandchildren and a dog enjoyed every minute.

"A beautifully decorated home."
Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay . Lots of extra touches. Very good welcome basket.
Comfortable beds quality bedding. Very clean and well looked after home. Nice sitting areas front and back when weather permits.
Great selection of books and games too. A real home from home .
Perfect location, minutes from the town centre . We had no issues with parking.

"We stayed from 17th to 24th May."
We had an email telling us that the cottage was ready if we wished to arrive before check in time which was very useful. The cottage is outstanding, the facilities are very high end and there is everything you could ever need provided. There is a comprehensive welcome pack and instructions for all appliances. There's 3 bedrooms, one en suite, a family bathroom and a downstairs loo too, so perfect for families. There are 2 fridges and a freezer, oven, microwave and washer drier. Excellent kitchen utensils for self catering which sometimes in other places are lacking. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Alnwick centre. We never had a problem parking as there is plenty of free on street parking. The owners should be proud of their property as it is in excellent condition and we had a very comfortable and happy holiday here and would definitely return.

"Generally excellent ."
Well organised for dogs with a gate to prevent them going upstairs , dog bowls and treats . So often they say dog friendly but it’s not been thought out but here was excellently thought out and therefore definitely dog friendly

"A beautiful cottage with everything you need at your fingertips."
Comfortable and clean with a quaint front garden and an ideal seating area at the back of the property. Less than a 5 min walk into Alnwick centre, the cottage is surprisingly quiet. We will certainly be back. We had dinner at the Treehouse and The Market Tavern and lunch at Grannies - would recommend all of them. Also a great location for visiting nearby tourist attractions, Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and The Jolly Fisherman in Craster.

"Beautiful property on a great location."
So well appointed with so many facilities and additional unexpected extras- lovely welcome pack , kitchen basics , lovely diffusers dotted about and so much more. High quality furnishings , bedding , towels etc.
perfect location for walking into Alnwick to explore or to drive and visit the beautiful coast.
This is our second visit to this lovely cottage and it won’t be our last.

"Biggest concern was the difficulty in parking outside."

"We loved the comfort, cleanliness, how well equipped it was."
The dogs loved their treats and the dog bed. We made use of the stair gate to prevent them from sneaking upstairs!
The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Perhaps a small carton of milk in the fridge would be useful after a long drive.
We also loved the selection of books and DVD’s plus the shower gels & moisturiser were divine!
The location was perfect and the dogs loved their morning river walk…what a view!!

"Beautiful cottage."
. real home from home.. comfortable and well equipped for every need.. We were 5 adults and 2 dogs and there was plenty of space for us all.. perfect location for using as a base to explore the area.. happy with our week away and if we come back up to the area I shall certainly try to book this cottage again.. thanks for everything..
