Loveley cottage perfect location the only thing I would say that could be improved is the cooking facility I think a conventional oven and hob would be better but other than that the cottage is perfect

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly located for exploring. We could have done with staying another week and I would definitely like to return. My first experience using an Aga was a positive one and I imagine the cottage would be lovely and cosy in the cooler months. Some lovely pubs and restaurants nearby but you definitely need to book ahead! Thank you

"A little hidden oasis."
Wonderfully private and yet still right in the middle of things. Beautifully set out, first cottage we have ever been to where we were really reluctant to leave. Already looking at booking for next year.

Same squeaky floor boards as our house. Cosy and comfortable would be an apt description. We've had a great time visiting local Castles and restaurants etc. Always able to park on the street outside. Many thanks.

Great location, pleasant outdoor area, spacious and comfortable accommodation. We will definitely be booking again next time we visit Alnwick. The cottage has a wonderful warmth courtesy of the aga and the decor is charming. It is a real home from home.

It is in walking distance to Alnwick town centre. Also its well situated to get out and about to see various attractions.

"This is a wonderful, homely cottage which we would highly recommend."
It is in a central location in Alnwick yet tucked away in its own private courtyard with a sunny spot for breakfast and evening meal.The Aga was fun to use and made the cottage very snug. There was a fantastic supply of local maps and guides, as well as a huge library of videos/DVDs for all tastes.The beds were comfy, the hot water plentiful and the kitchen well stocked with everything you might need. A perfect place to stay.

It’s a lovely property in an excellent location. Very comfortable and homely, it really didn’t feel like a holiday let. Ideal location and great to have garden and parking .
Very good instructions left and useful guides to the area. Would definitely recommend to friends and would visit again ourselves.

Even the access through a passage to Nurses Yard is like a trip through history. Extremely welcoming with an AGA warming the kitchen as you enter. Wonderfully convenient location in an historical part of Alnwick and in walking distance of the castle, garden and town restaurants and pubs.
