  • "Wonderful! Absolutely spotless, cosy and many ‘treat touches’, making it more like a good hotel holiday."

    The bustling market place below is excellent for people watching and the location is fabulous for those of us using public transport. Bus station within yards and a big Morrisons, although lots of independent shops to shop in (bakery next door). Add in beautiful Alnwick and the Gardens, The Playhouse and Northumberland - what more could anyone need? Do visit Howick Gardens when open…

  • "Excellent property, brilliant location on main street with lots of restaurants and shops nearby."

    Bus station also nearby. Very comfortable with everything you need for a great holiday. If you like Harry Potter, this is the place for you with lots of little touches around the property. Very clean and well maintained. Welcome hamper very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Alnmouth 4 miles; Bamburgh 15 miles; Rothbury 10 miles.

The attractive and historic market town of Alnwick is dominated by Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The Castle Gardens, opened in 2002, are home to Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fabulous (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden, which will delight novice and experienced gardeners alike; for even more excitement, the enchanted world of Lilidorei is also available at Alnwick Gardens, offering seasonal events and plenty of fun for little ones of your group. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films!
