  • "We cannot fault anything."

We had a lovely welcome from Christopher on our arrival and also a very helpful E Mail prior to our stay. The milk, biscuits and cake were very nice on our arrival. Christopher very kindly made himself available to get in touch with should we need him for anything. All these things made our holiday even more enjoyable. Thank you Christopher John and Margaret

I loved being so close to the wonderful nature of the Northumberland coast and long walks by the sea, some directly out from the flat. Owner was very helpful in getting settled in when I arrived.

  • "Fantastic location just a couple of minutes from the beach and in the lovely village of Beadnell."

The apartment is very comfortable with a modern and extensively equipped kitchen. The lounge and bedroom are very nice. Christopher was very welcoming and left us some goodies which was a lovely gesture. As other guests have commented the carpet in the lounge and hall needs addressing. The mould around the bathroom window and in one corner of the bedroom ceiling also needs addressing.

Complete refurbishment of floor – rebuilt to give soundproofing to below flat. Lovely new carpet with luxury underlay. Dark patches removed – guests encouraged to allow airflow. Property Owner

He left us essentials like tea, coffee and bread and also some lovely biscuits and crisps. We didn't have to get anything at all as everything was provided e.g. dishwasher tabs etc. The accommodation was situated a couple of minutes from a beautiful clean beach. Couldn't have booked anywhere better if we tried. Absolutely perfect.

  • "The apartment was well equipped and in a good location."

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom & Kitchen were well decorated and provided quality utensils. The lounge and hall carpets need to be re-laid as they are a potential trip hazard (this has been mentioned in previous reports) and the balcony has a loose board and could do with being re-stained although this may be due to Covid adjustments which have been made and could be sorted once the balcony is returned to its normal situation. All in all we enjoyed our stay and no serious issues. Written information on the use of the TV's would be helpful rather than just the user manual provided by the manufacturer.

Thank you for your review. The sitting room and hall floor has been entirely reconstructed. Soundproofing with new plasterboard and flooring. Lovely smart new carpet with luxury underlay. This work could be completed only when the property was free of bookings. Would never wish to cancel bookings to do this - that would disappoint guests. The balcony has been restored to normal. Again, adjustments (at considerable expense) made to satisfy Covid rules and so as not to cancel bookings to disappoint. TV operation – thought better to give the definitive instructions from the manufacturer. Always meet guests upon arrival. In any event, my contact details are provided to help with any issues. The kitchen is immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack of snacks was very much appreciated. Being only 2 minutes walk away from a large beach is a real bonus. We were welcomed by the friendly owner who explained everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay. When the weather didn't encourage us out it was very relaxing to spend time in this comfortably clean and cosy apartment. We look forward to returning at some time to stay here in this beautiful part of the UK.

This property needs a deep clean some surfaces ok but still felt the need to clean again in view of current situation. Lightshades covered in thick dust, extractor fan in bathroom and top of shower, fridge needed a good wipe, carpet in lounge and hall area has large bumpy areas, does not fit tight. Some walls need redecorating. All in all needs a thorough clean and some updating.Yes this could have been mentioned to the owner but we did not want the upheaval of a deep clean whilst on holiday.

A modern spacious kitchen with more than enough utensils including a dishwasher, which was handy. Large open plan living/dining room. Th Smart TV works through the internet, so you’ve got Netflix, don’t forget your login details.Good strength WiFi. Bathroom has a shower over the bath. The shower pressure was quite low. The master bedroom has a comfortable massive king size bed and loads of wardrobe and drawer space. The twin room just has a set of drawers for storage. The two village pubs are about a 20 minute level walk away. We had a good meal at Beadnell Towers. We contacted and met the owner (Christopher) on two or three occasions during our stay. He’s a very approachable and helpful gentleman who showed us around the apartment on arrival and also offered advice and information in response to a few questions we had. Would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again in the future.

About the location

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
