  • "Clover cottage is a brilliant place in which to relax, surrounded by wonderful countryside views."

The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated. All the space flows nicely together and, for our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler, it was perfect. We would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Thanks for your kind words . We try hard to provide a home from home and a quiet peaceful place where people can recharge their batteries. Property Owner

  • "What a beautiful and clever purpose-built barn (definitely more of a barn vibe than a cottage?"

!), and that view across the hills….Wow! Nice welcome touches with the goodie basket, local info, board games - and even bows on the toilet rolls! - but the best thing (given we had two toddlers) was being on the one level plus finding that all the doors, drawers and loo lids were ‘soft-closing’. Added to that a non-squeaky floor throughout - it made such a difference to us as individuals being up and about at different times. Everything really was of a high standard regarding comfort and decor and we all loved the local scenery pictures. Night lights in corridors very thoughtful, as were having flat-screens in every room - all a complete surprise. As I put in your visitor book “the place did everything it says on the tin”! Thank you. • "Utterly lovely property."

We found this having been let down by a competitor's grubby place and therefore booked and arrived on the same day. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable sofas and beds and in a perfect location - it's so quiet! Very well equipped, 3 great bathrooms (2 ensuite) and a fabulous kitchen. Very close to Corbridge which is gorgeous with some great restaurants and close to the larger Hexham too. I very rarely say I will go back to a place, but this one I will.

Thankyou for your kind words. Much appreciated Property Owner

Restrictions on Water heating meant we had to stagger the showers (There was 8 of us staying) I ended up having a couple of cold showers Grass had not been cut for a while so kids could not play any ball games Had to leave the on suite window open due to the smell of the drain Other than that it was a lovely place to stay

To get more hot water you simply need to turn on and leave on the immersion heater . Frustratingly our ride on grass cutter was indeed poorly serviced and we had two weeks without grass cutting . It is always cut now by a contractor every week so should not reoccur - To solve any drainage smell simply make sure that the shower trap (beneath the floor of the shower cubicle ) is filled with water to save any back draught The property build is brand new this year Property Owner

  • "Lovely cottage in a peaceful location."

My elderly parents thought a shower mat in one of the showers would be a good idea, as the shower floors were a bit slippy. Welcome basket was a lovely touch. Everything was of the standard expected from a high spec cottage.

  • "A delightful property."

It was in a good location and very comfortable. We would definitely return. Only slight niggle was the variable water pressure in the showers otherwise everything was excellent.

Thanks for your lovely comments and glad you had a good stay. I think lower shower pressure may occur only if water use is in several locations at once within the cottage putting pressure on the system to cope , but we will ask our excellent plumber to check the system which , along with the cottage , was brand new this year. Thankyou Property Owner
