  • "We had a lovely relaxing holiday at Duneside."

The property is homely, the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. If we had a problem it was the shower over the bath, it was very difficult to turn on, once on was great but very stiff. Other than that it was a lovely little property.

  • "Unable to locate the washer/dryer advertised ?"

In garage which was locked but had no key for. Toaster blew electrics every time-messaged number given-no reply

The washing machine and tumble dryer are in the cupboard easily accessed via the family bathroom. It has a white door and no lock. They are NOT in the garage. The toaster will be checked and replaced. Property Owner

  • "Duneside is a lovely seaside bungalow - very close to the beach, which is reached over a couple of sand dunes or by road or footpath."

The cottage was a pleasure to stay in - well equipped with excellent central heating, which heats up the radiators in seconds.

Lovely location and comfortable property. WIfi now provided, which worked well.

  • "A bungalow full of light and sun."

Warm, cosy and homely. Lovely white bed and towel linen. Well equipped with welcome pack of milk, tea, sugar and local biscuits. Being at ages of 78 did not deter us from all walks from the property despite a warning of not suitable for elderly or infirm. Sadly a week was not long enough.

  • "This a great property to stay in."

The location is perfect with the lovely Beadnell Bay just a short walk from the back garden! It has all the amenities needed and its light and spacious living area is a perfect place to relax. Comfortable beds for a good night sleep. Good kitchen diner area so that we could cook own evening meals sometimes. We stayed with our two young children so having an enclosed garden and being able to see them with the large windows was very good for us.

About the location

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
