  • "A cosy and comfortable cottage."

Had four very pleasant nights in Barn2. The property was most welcoming - clean, warm and very peaceful. The beds and the sofas were most comfortable and the shower was such a delight I could have had three or four showers a day ! As a former teacher of history I was fascinated by the Roman remains in the garden and the wealth of industrial heritage in the locality. The village itself was a delight - friendly people, a great village store and excellent bus services. Thanks to Chris and Lynne for making our short stay so memorable - their friendly welcome and the lovely accommodation. Best of luck with the museum venture. Hope to be back again. Whilst relatively new, it was finished to the highest standards and was extremely welcoming from the 1st step. Comfortable beds with high end cotton linen and towels and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. My wife and I have stayed at many cottages around the country but this one really stands out. Owners Chris and Lynn lovely and accommodating. Would happily visit again
