• "The cottage was completely 5 star."

  Everything you would need for a comfortable and stress free stay. The owners Yvonne and Ray go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The welcome pack was awesome and very much appreciated. The gardens are also very well tended with ample seating areas front and back. The inside of the property is very quirky, loved the theme of Alice in Wonderland and the numerous butterflies all around the inside and out in the garden. All in all a wonderful relaxing week away. I would recommend this property to friends and family and anyone reading this review.

• "We had had an amazing week in Tartaria, the hosts Yvonne & Ray go above and beyond with the facilities and welcome pack, everything you need is there."

  We loved the power shower plenty of hot water and the mattress was comfortable however the cream leather sofa in the living room was very low and was uncomfortable after a time so had to switch to the brown sofa. That being said it would not deter us from returning to Tartaria in the future. Northumberland is a wonderful area with lots of places to visit, Tynemouth, Warkworth, Cragside, Bamburgh and Holy Island are a must whilst you stay. Morpeth lovely for a dull day and La Rosso Italian restaurant does a lunch time special menu the food was so good then you can go into the park up to Morpeth Castle or the riverside walk. We also had a wonderful week weather wise so were able to sit in the lovely garden in the evening with a glass of wine.

  The owners left a lovely welcome basket for our arrival which was a lovely surprise and the accommodation was quirky and spotless! Kitchen and bathroom were immaculate and well stocked, even down to spare toothbrush and paste if needed! Would recommend to anyone!

• "Loved this cottage and would return again sometime."

  Thank you for your welcome pack. Only one problem there on the Monday night freeview lost signal so no normal tv for one night only but had internet for all other options. Probably due to weather. Loved the area this cottage is in. Enjoyed local suggested takeaways and pubs. Loved sitting in both gardens. Adorable.

• "This is a wonderful bungalow."

  It was very comfortable. Everything you could ever want is provided in Tataria. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. Although there are other houses around it was very quiet. The most noise was made by the nesting birds, who quickly made off with the copious amounts of seed that was provided to feed them. I could not recommend this bungalow any higher than saying this is the best we`ve have ever stayed in.
