  • "Seahouses is a great place to visit, especially out of season if you have dogs as we do, for quiet beach walks."

It also has all the required amenities, with everything within easy reach of the cottage. The enclosed rear garden is perfect for the dogs to have a wander about in. On site parking is a big bonus. The cottage is warm, clean and comfortable, and catered for our every need. Both ourselves and the dogs loved the cottage and the area.

  • "Well presented , and comfortable, but just a few little snags."

Cooker hood filter smelt really bad and obviously overdue for replacement. Heated Towel rail in ensuite did not work and also extractor fan in Family Bathroom. Everything else was top notch and we enjoyed staying there. Thinking of a Family holiday there with next door combined for a party of 12.

  • "We had a wonderful holiday, Seahouses was a perfect location as a base to explore the area."

We really liked the cottage, comfortable, spacious and with 3 boys aged 14, 13 & 11 we felt completely "at home"! A couple of feedback points to share: The fantastic detailed "welcome information booklet", which was so useful, stated we were entitled to a 10% Farne island boat trip voucher + other local discounts. Upon calling in at the office, we were told these were not available peak season, so we received no discounts. Also unfortunately my mother (age 76) got multiple presumed flea bites from the ensuite back bedroom. We dont own a dog so this must have come from previous occupants. Also we could find no spare bin bags so had to use our own. The cottage appeared clean & tidy on arrival but probably needs an extra deep clean after dog owners stay. Aside from the above, we had a fantastic week.

  • "We had a great time in Seahouses using this house and its neighbour as a base for a two family holiday."

The kitchen and lounge are both good sizes and allow visitors both to share activities and, if necessary, to spread out. Further, the kitchen is well-equipped and met all our needs - you don't find this in every cottage. The bedrooms were comfortable and flexible for different age groups. Off road parking at the front is ample for two cars (three at a squeeze). The only thing we missed from other houses was a hose in the garden to clean sand off beach items.

  • "This is a very comfortable bungalow close to the centre of Seahouses."

It was very clean and well equipped. However, on a health and safety note, the steps to the front door are very steep and I feel really need a handrail as I, at 76, found them very difficult to climb. Also the toilet seat in the bathroom needs changing as it does not fit and again is not very safe.

  • "Lovely bungalow, plenty of room for 5/6 adults."

Spotlessly clean on arrival, all kitchen equipment was very clean and fresh. Lounge and bedrooms very comfortable. Dog friendly with towel and bowls. Plenty of parking for two cars. Milk and biscuits waiting on arrival. Seahouses centre a 5 min walk. The old Bamburgh Castle Inn and the Craster Arms at Beadnell good for food. Lovely walk from Low Newton to Caster, calling at the Jolly Fisherman in Craster for an excellent Crab sandwich on then on return to Low Newton call at the Ship for a piece of delicious frui cake. Lovely holiday. Thank you

  • "House was first class, good location, clean, modern and everything you need."

Ample parking for two cars is a bonus and within walking distance to all local amenities. The only slight moan is I think there should be some information on what you can and can’t put in the recycle bin as the previous guests and ourselves put glass bottles in and the bin men wouldn’t empty it. We did remove them all and take them to the bottle recycle. Other than that we would definitely book this lovely cottage again.
