"The cottage was very clean and warm on our arrival."
Directions to find the cottage were very clear and we found it without any problem. The milk and biscuits were very welcome Bed was very comfortable and the cottage was very spacious for two of us The kitchen was well equipped and I am grateful to Janice for letting me borrow her slow cooker ! The views are stunning and we had a range of weather to enjoy them ! We were able to sit in the garden on one sunny afternoon and watch the birds feeding .We opted to leave our car in the free car park in Rothbury and catch the bus to various places which was great as the buses were regular and fairly punctual ! We don't tend to return to properties as we have seen most of the area but will definitely be recommending the cottage to friends and family and if we do return to Rothbury then we would book again.

"We had a fabulous week at Healey Farm Cottage."
Visiting in November, we made sure we took plenty of fleeces and warm clothes. We didn't need them, the weather couldn't have been better!! The cottage was immaculately clean, everything provided for, even logs for the fire which we didn't light as the cottage was warm and cosy enough without it.
Plenty of room to move around, comfy bed, views to die for, skies that go on for ever. I honestly can-not praise it highly enough. The owner (Janice) is friendly, and always available for a chat, and the dogs love an ear scratch or two!
We would love to go back.

The cottage was in good order but we all struggled with the sofas as they were quite soft and low which made it difficult to get out of them. However the panoramic views from this cottage were the reason I had booked and they did not dissapoint, stunning and ever changing as the light and conditions changed. We loved watching the birds darting about and enjoyed our visits from the farm's dogs. I enjoyed sitting out in the lovely little garden to paint and drink in the scenery.
