"Rosemary Cottage is the loveliest of places to stay, the kitchen has everything you could possibly want with ample crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc with no expense spared on equipment and gadgets, we particularly loved the ice dispenser in the fridge freezer!"
The beds are very comfortable with top quality cotton bedding and the most luxurious towels. The cottage was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the welcome pack was amazing... Ed and Amanda really know how to make you feel welcome here, including ensuring the Cottage was warm for our arrival. If we visit the North East again I really hope Rosemary Cottage is available for us, it is a stunning property that I could live in forever.

"Just stunning."
Our expectations were already high from previous reviews and seeing the photos of the cottage. They were definitely surpassed and we had a wonderful stay. We very much appreciated the attentive and considerate contact from the owners before we arrived and the fabulous welcome gifts to greet our arrival. Rosemary Cottage is fantastic and is fully equipped for every need. There wasn’t a single thing we needed that the cottage didn’t have underlining the considerable care made. Seriously comfy beds, beautifully furnished, relaxing and inspiring garden and the added bonus of horses in the field. Perfect mindfulness. Beadnell is lovely and the cottage location is quiet yet perfectly positioned for the local amenities and great walk down to the beach. We would love to return but will have a dog shortly so we’ll need to find a cottage to reach the superb benchmark that Rosemary sets. A wonderful stay and a Big thank you to Ed and Amanda.

"There are self catering cottages and then there is Rosemary Cottage which is in a league of its own."
Excellent location, peaceful and rural but close to eating places and beach. Really enjoyed our stay in a comfortable, well designed property with a superb kitchen and dining area. We appreciated the generous welcome pack and the good quality furnishings and kitchenware. The owners have really thought about the details that make the difference be tween an OK place to stay and a really memorable place that you really want to come back to.

"A superb holiday cottage in an ideal location - one of the best we've stayed in."
Everything was provided and the beds and sofas were extremely comfortable. Enough kitchen crockery and utensils to cook a banquet for a small army. Spotlessly clean with a lovely welcome pack and note. Clear instructions for everything (other cottage owners please take note). Couldn't ask for more. Ed (the owner) was very helpful with a minor TV issue

"Rosemary Cottage is one of the best self-catering places we have ever stayed in."
The kitchen and living area was very spacious and comfortable and everything that we could need was provided. We also really appreciated the separate sitting room, this was very nice and comfortable, and as a group of six this gave us an extra option for relaxation. The location was perfect, on a quiet road with horses in the fields behind, yet just a short walk from the village with its pubs and cafe.
We also appreciated the owner's welcome package, which included wine, chocolate and home-made biscuits.
Just some very minor points for considertion: there was no shaver point in the ensuite bathroom , I didn't check if there was one in the main bathroom as I didn't need it, I had charged my shaver before arriving; a shelf in the showers to put shampoo etc. on would have been nice; the very large teapot was appreciated but a tea cosy would have been handy - we improvised with a tea towel!

"A second wonderful stay at Rosemary Cottage, which is terrific in every respect."
It is is beautifully furnished, very well equipped and very relaxing, with easy coastal walks from the door and three good eateries within an easy 5 min walk. The cottage is so lovely that on the one day of very inclement weather we decided not to go out at all but to hunker down in comfort instead, for which it is perfect. The best holiday rental at which we have ever stayed.

"Beautifully furnished, equipped and decorated, this is an extremely comfortable and warm cottage, in an ideal location."
Beadnell is a quiet village with a pub serving food and real ale plus two other restaurants for lunch and dinner. These are less than 5 mins walk from the cottage and the Salt Water cafe is especially recommended for perfectly cooked, freshly prepared dishes. Beadnell Bay is a 10 min walk for the beach and coastal path.
It is worth noting that only one of the bedrooms has hanging space for clothes, whilst the other two just have drawers, so best to pack accordingly.
This is probably the most perfect cottage we have ever rented in one of the loveliest parts of the UK.

"Our stay at Rosemary Cottage was amazing."
Location was close to the two village pubs in beadnell and a short walk across the field to the beach. The property is well equipped for everything you need for a long stay. Amazing open plan kitchen/dinner and living space. A lovely room to cook and entertain. The modernisation of the bungalow has made Rosemary Cottage a lovely well throughout property to stay in. The 3 double bedrooms are all good sizes with one having an en-suite and a main large family bathroom with walk in shower and huge bath. The additional living room is great for the kids to play in or watch tv and is a lovely snug with a log burner for winter. The gardens are beautiful and you can tell that it is much loved property by the owners. Ed was supper attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. Some lovely touches in the welcome pack and it all added to our amazing stay. The major wow factor is the amazing views from the back of the house. Looking out over the Northumberland countryside and the beautiful horses in the field close to the property. We would definitely recommend this property it is the best we have stayed in in Beadnell. Thank you for such a great stay.

"Rosemary cottage was a perfect place for our family, with the two kids and us in the two rooms on one side and a lovely en-suite room for my parents on the other."
It was a great family space with a kitchen, diner, living space that was great for spending time with each other and a separate living room for some quiet time. We have spent a lot of holidays in this part of Northimberland and location wise its great. Only 25 mins from Alnwick and the supermarkets, and amenities but also a good travelling distance north and south to places like Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Craster and Amble. Beadnell itself has a good beach a 5 minute walk away and a good pub, cafes and small shop. But Seahouses is just 5 mins by car to a larger Co-op. Outside the house there is loads of parking on the drive for 2 cars or 3 small ones and some friendly horses in the field behind the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the cottage layout and facilities were great. Would thourougly reccomend.

The beach and harbour are also nearby. The back kitchen / diner/ sofa area is so relaxing with light from the windows. The underfloor heating makes this huge modern room cosy.
The cottage is well furnished with quality furniture etc so is comfortable and stylish. The garden area and bbq extend the dining area outside. We will be rebooking.
