  • "A well maintained cottage in a quiet area a short walk away from Seahouses."

The back yard is fully fenced in which was fantastic for the dog as was the welcome pack you provided for them (and us!) We found the kitchen well equipped and on street parking wasn't a problem. The log burning stove was broken on arrival (glass in the door was smashed) and although materials had been left for a fire, this wasn't fixed during our stay so we weren't able to use the stove. As mentioned in previous reviews, the beds are very comfy and although the main bathroom is downstairs, there is a small toilet and sink upstairs for night time visits! Overall we had a fantastic stay and would certainly visit again.

We are glad you enjoyed your visit and we would be delighted to welcome you back to The Haven. Unfortunately the entire stove needed replacing and it was not possible to do this whilst the cottage was occupied. I’m sorry we didn’t communicate this information whilst you were staying. • "We loved staying in this cosy and spacious cottage."

On arrival, we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack and the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. The bedrooms were light and airy and the beds so comfortable. The cottage is situated in the area of North Sunderland which is a comfortable 15 minute walk to the centre. We liked being slightly away from the centre as it was very quiet at night and we had the best sleep! We also liked sitting outside on the bench in the front garden every morning. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice to have access to an outside space at the back. We would definitely return to The Haven, thank you.

Thank you for your lovely feedback! We have passed your comment on to our cleaning team. We are updating our instructions for heating the water. Thank you for your suggestion. Property Owner

  • "The property was perfect apart from when the drains blacked and spilled out along the path."

We had to climb over the wall to get out of the property, owner was more than helpful. Sykes were not helpful at all, didn’t call us back when they said they would, left us without a property which the owner sorted themselves. We won’t be using Sykes again.

  • "What a lovely cosy cottage."

A 15 minute walk to the beach, great little garden, super space. Definitely a home away from home. The welcome touches were absolutely unexpected and so lovely - my dog was over the moon with her ball!!

  • "Lovely well equipped cottage in a quiet area of Nort Sunderland even the main road was not as busy as we expected."

Cottage had everything we needed for our stay and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyed our break and though the weather was drech once the log fire was set it made it more cosy .
