The Apple Inn Lodgings consist of four idyllic shepherd’s huts resting in the quaint village of Lucker near Belford amongst the rolling Northumbrian countryside. The shepherd’s huts all benefit from complimentary breakfast and beautifully-presented, studio-style living spaces finished with sumptuous king-size beds and characterful, crackling woodburning stoves. As well as a picturesque setting close to Northumberland National Park, the breath-taking coast at Bamburgh, Seahouses and are even close to the Scottish border; the ultimate setting for couples seeking romantic getaway full of adventure and exploration with their beloved canine companion. The village is home to The Apple Inn which serves delicious meals, the perfect way to finish a day of exploring; find local amenities in the nearby village of Belford. There are a variety of must-see attractions in the area, outdoor enthusiasts will be in their element; venture up the coast to the Holy Island Causeway where when the tide is out you can embark on the Pilgrims Way which takes your across the island, here you can explore the 16th-century cragtop Lindisfarne Castle or traverse the interesting ruins of the priory, the beaches on the island are spectacular, enjoy strolls along North Shore, Emmanuel Head or Holy Island Beach with your dog while admiring the breath-taking and uninterrupted views across the North Sea. The historic town of Alnwick is also easily accessible, immerse yourself in the past at Alnwick Castle, which might look familiar to Harry Potter fans, or meander through the expansive Alnwick Garden home to the treehouse restaurant and the infamous poison garden, which runs guided tours through deadly fauna.
